Alright, so I wear 10.5-11 and ordered a 10.5 (I saw the ratings of larger than expected, I really don't know what I was thinking). Woop, boots turn up but they're too large. However, they feel really comfy. Like foot in a pillow comfy. When I step there's some resistance, but looking at other boots this is relatively nothing. I love the look and the feel, and hope that my replacement boots fit better but feel at least the same. I'll update once I get the new boots and give them a test run. EDIT: I got 9 3E, which is comfy and fits well for me. Sadly, these boots came in a bit scuffed, and the box was damaged as well. I am somewhat alright with the scuff marks on the boots, as I wear boots not for a perfect look but for a story of a journey. I wear a 10.5 Wide in Nike's, but I have a bit of extra space lengthwise in those shoes. ... show more

I am very happy with the fit and feel of these boots. They are a great compromise between street shoes and work boots, perfect for light work, walking gentle terrain and general everyday wear. The leather polishes reasonably well and the laces grip firmly. I would give these boots five stars if: • They were available in black and, • The soles were more durable. So far as I can find, only brown was offered as an option (somebody let me know if I'm wrong, please) and while I only walk an average of 20 miles per month, the soles are nearly worn out out in my original pair in less than six months. These are the best work boots that I have found for my wider foot. I wear them up to 18 hours a day and they are the most comfortable ones that I have found. I am a Type 1 diabetic and have always had foot problems.

These run a tad narrow for a 4E, so be prepared to invest some time to break them in. I use a stretcher on mine, but I'm gentle with it. Once broken in properly, they will last for years. These are the best looking pair of boots I have ever owned, I was certainly not expecting this level of quality! The boots are also very light and very comfortable and I love the fit. Once I put some polish on these they became even better looking! Another pair of these boots is certainly in my future, want to try out more colors! I can't wear dress shoes due to health issues so I wear boots and use these in an area that requires business casual. 2 different size boots. When I received I opened the box, boots looked good, looked at size (one shoe) looked good, then set aside for when I needed them. Today I was going to start wearing them to break them in and I found the second shoe a different size. This is the 6th time I purchased this boot from Amazon, 5 on re-order. I always buy ahead of need so as last pair wears out I can break in new pair. Order was received on 9 May, I checked them as above immediately, I tried them (one of them) yesterday, 30 June & found the problem. I tried to contact somebody at Amazon but got nothing but an A.I. phone message saying tough luck, you should have paid more attention, you are past your 30 day return window. I love these boots for the work I do and the size fit & comfort. I’ve reordered 5 times. Hate the system that says, “no excuses, no means of review, you screwed up…….do you want to buy this item again?” ... show more

    • Good boots, but only if you like replacing the grommets - which keep falling out.

There are several things to like - and one NOT to like about these boots. The "likes" include the availability of wide sizes, good comfort, and durability. The NOT to like is that boot lace eyelets (grommets) are often so poorly installed that they fall out. I've bought three pairs of these - a new one about every two years. I had a shoe repair place replace two grommets in the first pair - they didn't quite match. I replaced one in the second pair - a poor match but functional. I've just recently started wearing the third pair - and after a couple days one grommet has already fallen out. ... show more
