I wanted to wait a long while before I posted my review. For obvious reasons. I needed to get to know these boots. I can confidentially say they are fantastic and are holding up fantastically. They are a fantastic example of work boots! Going on a year strong! I bought these for their water proof properties, and the steel toe box. First of all they are gorgeous boots. Second, true to the advertising they are 100% water proof! I had to walk to work for almost a year and through rain, hail, snow, and floods they have held up. Not a single seam has torn or come up. They are a fantastic fit, comfortable, amd reliable. I work odd jobs such as landscaping, construction, etc. But also I worked at a restaurant where the kitchen would often flood, they held up against the hot grease as well. If it weren't for these boots I wouldn't have made it to my job through a flood. Now I work a job unloading heavy freight and these boots have saved my toes from being broken or darn near severed on more occasions than I can count. Wolverine has made an awesome work boot.     • Good Boot for the Money, Need an Insole, Some Mfr'ing Flaws

Bought these for a riding boot, always hard to find durable extrawide footwear to keep my skin on in case of a crash. In GA weather they have been fine in summer and autumn, unsure how they'd be where it gets really cold. Comfortable on the top and sides of the foot, but the insole that comes in the boot is basically nonexistant. Started getting arch cramps immediately, so I added an aftermarket insole and this works fine. Certainly a cheaper solution than some higher end boots with cork insoles and the like. Boot is attractive and have got several compliments on them - glad I picked a model where the branding is more subdued than some of their more overtly branded designs. Leather has held up pretty well to wear and tear, slight marking on the left from toeing the gear shifter but nothing major. Waterproofing has worked great in crappy weather. First time I went to pull up the heel of one of the boots by the boot loop, though, the end of the loop pulled out immediately with a minimum of pressure. Boot wasn't laced up very high and laces were loose in the grommets. From the end that pulled out it looks like it was held in only with a little adhesive and no stitching to retain the end of the loop. Contacted Wolverine to see if they'd do anything to make that right, but haven't heard back from them yet. ... show more

I just bought another pair to keep in my car for work. I bought my first pair three years ago when I was working in a machine shop. They are still in a great condition and I still plan on using them. The boots are comfortable from the get go. They lace nice and high and provide excellent ankle support. I've used them for a huge range of tasks such as difficult work conditions, hiking, paintball, and regular wearing in wet weather. The steel toe is strong enough that I've used it to drive nails. The rubberized sole is grippy and puncture resistant. I have stepped on multiple screws and nails and have removed them with no lasting problems. In the winter they keep my feet warm and dry. The only time I've ever gotten water in my boots is when I was knee deep in a creek. After I had to take off my boot and pour the water out, which I think is only a testament to their water resistance if it kept that much water in. It would be nice if they had metal aglets, but my laces haven't frayed yet so it's not a problem. ... show more

These are really durable however I would not recommend if you work in cold climates you either need really thick socks or boots that are insulated. walking in puddles seem to be no issue though really to put on and off not a bad boot 🥾

I've only had them for a few weeks, but here's why I'm giving them a 5-star review: The factor that made me buy them was a review that said they are the most comfortable and wear-able right out of the box... no painful break-in period. And for my feet, these boots delivered on that promise. So far, the waterproofing is good. And they clean up well with a basic wipe-down. ... show more
