    • Excellent on flat or rough surfaces! Perfect fit.
Not too loose, not too tight-perfect fit! I work offshore on a boat and take around 15,000 steps a day. Throw an extra gel sole on top of the provided one and these boots feel like foot pillows! Awesome boot, will buy again, if these ever wear out. Not a single issue and AMERICAN MADE!!!

Worst boots I've ever bought. This is my 3rd pair total of these boots, got scammed into doubling up thanks to Amazon shipping lying about whether or not my boots were delivered or not... But that aside both pairs that I most recently bought were wearing holes inside in less than 2 weeks. The inside heel materials are awful and just fall apart (see pic), they hurt my feet and I haven't gotten 6 months of use out of either pair, I'm about to have to replace them again because my feet just can't handle it... Got my husband these to replace his old wolverine boots that lasted him 10 years. I would give 5 stsrs but he boots fit a little bit bigger than the last pair of the same size and were a bit darker brown than was expected (more black-brown than dark brown). I imagine these boots used for working around the farm will last just as long as his old pair. The price is worth the quality. ... show more

We are city dwellers moved to the country, needed some everyday heavier footwear for my husband to poke around the gardens and woods around our property. Sometimes we use an axe, sometimes other work around the property. Bought these as a gift to him. they are perfect! He's been wearing them for about 6 months now and they are a great fit, easy enough to take on and off, and just work really well for protection.     • Comfortable but won't last more than a year
I really like this boot but I have two major issues with them. I've owned two sets of them: The first is that the lining inside will tear away within a couple weeks which causes your heel to get stuck on the lining when you try to slide the boot off. Eventually they will tear in a way that this will stop happening, but his is one of the main reasons I bought them in the first place. The ease of sliding them on and off was what I was looking for various scenarios. The second is that they last about a year (with daily use) before the tread on the bottom wears away enough that the boot stops being water proof. They are very comfortable and the steel toe is needed for my job. $80 once a year isn't a big deal if you can afford that or get a uniform allowance from work. ... show more

Granted, I don't work outside or do manual labor any more, but this is a sweet boot. I've had a pair for several years and they were getting pretty ate up, so I invested in a new pair. Super comfy and a great winter boot. I'll be buying another pair in a few years, no doubt.
