Boots were rubbing my ankle bad right out of the box. I put a piece of mole skin on the inside and solved that problem. Quickly learned they ARE NOT water proof from being out in the snow for a few hours. Since then i haven't been wearing them meaning to put some waterproofing on them. Overall I only have a few weeks of wear but they are comfortable. I used to buy Red Wings boots that were a similar style but they are over $200 and only lasted around a year so if these hold up i'll be very happy for the price. ... show more

I wear them hard doing construction work and cutting firewood. I actually don't ever wear them out, but buy new ones every 18 months or so as they become scraped and dirty and paint stained. Except for church, I wear them everyday, all day long. I keep a new pair that I break in by wearing for going out in public. I have been wearing this brand of Wolverines sine my old boot company went out of business. Since 2007. I only get the steel toed ones. ... show more

I've worn this brand model boot for 5 years now. I wear them every day for two weeks straight and have never have any problems. I work 180 days a year and wear them 12 hours a day and they last me about 2 years give or take. The Arch support is good but if you have a high arch you might want to consider getting insoles. The leather stands up to the elements very well. The soles are oil resistant and work very well and do not slip even in heavily oiled surfaces. ... show more
