This is an update: I didn't appreciate these enough when I first wore them. I next got a heavier duty brand, and all was well until I drove my crossover. The heavier duty ones had wider soles, and within the narrower confines of the crossover, that led to contact with the accelerator when the intended target was the brake pedal, so it's back to the tall waterproof shoes. The original review appears below. The fit is accurate, the water proofing is effective, the crafting is good, so why no 5th star? These are basically tall shoes. I do miss my old Timber Pros, but so don't lotsa other folks miss theirs. ... show more

I love my wolverine boots with 1 exception, the soles don't last. The boot is very comfortable and lasts a long time. With these boots there is no break in time like others where I have had blisters and sore feet for a week or two. I just wish the soles lasted longer.

I bought these for winter work boots. The new boots have a smaller outside profile than my old pair of W olverines, but are the same size inside. I guess it is glued construction rather than traditional sewn welt. Too early to know how well they will hold up

For years I only wore the Volverine Durashock Trapeurs. Now no longer available had to make a monumental change (Not easy at 71) to the alternative boot. Must say I’m totally satisfied with the boot but still holding a grudge having to make a change!🤷♂️

I hate writing reviews, but I have to give credit where credit is due...I despise boot shopping, either the width's wrong, or the size is funky, or it's just an uncomfortable feel all-around. Nope, not with these, right out of the box they were amazing. I'm wearing them right now, and I'm wondering if I should order another pair for when I eventually wear these down. Honestly, this is my second version of "Wolverine" brand boots, and so far...I have not been disappointed. BTW, I am a real person, this is a real review. I was paid NOTHING and received NOTHING for this review...just trying to spread the good word, because I know boot shopping is not fun for a lot of us. ... show more

Terrible soles. In cold weather the soles are like hard plastic. They clack when walking and and very slippery…not flexible at all. Sent them back.
