  • Wonderful Boots
Size: 9.5 Color: Coffee Bean
My previous work boots, while steel toed, ended up having a hole in the sole from stepping on the cut off trunk of a small tree. I also found that I had to stop and re-tie those boots frequently throughout the day. This inevitably happened at the most inconvenient times. I selected these boots because to the Boa tightening system. I have Boa snowboard boots and wondered if I could find Boa work boots. I love the Boa system. They are easy to get on and often, and they stay tight all day. The soles are much sturdier than my previous boots and the carbon toes are strong, yet light. And they boots are waterproof! I am surprised to have found such a great boot for such a reasonable price. The only problem I have experienced is that I am an Ohio State fan, and it’s a bit uncomfortable wearing something labeled “Wolverine.” ;0) ... show more

  • Durable and comfortable
Size: 10.5 Color: Coffee Bean
I bought this for my son since his steel toe boot was falling apart. He said it’s comfortable and durable. His previous boot was more than double the price and fell apart quickly. Excellent replacement steel toe boot

  • Lightweight and durable
Size is smaller than stated, I am a size 10 , had to get a size 11 wide to fit, but overall great shoe, like the crank part so I don't need to tie laces. It's very lightweight and comfortable, I use it for work, I work in an industrial environment .

  • Very nice boots
Size: 10.5 Color: Coffee Bean
I really like these boots. They will make you lazy when it comes to lacing up other boots though. Very comfortable and warm.

  • Remember those Velcro shoes you had as a kid?
Size: 11.5 Color: Coffee Bean
Tired of lacing your boots? Wish you could have the convience of Velcro without being judged by your peers? Ever wonder how much more you could get done if you could get those 20 seconds of your life spent tying your laces back? GUESS NO FURTHER. With the BOA system, I can be laced up and ready to rock and roll within mere SECONDS. Remember those sick light up Velcro shoes that you used to have as a kid? These are basically those, but without the lights. It's that easy. They're incredibly easy to put on and remove and stay tight all day. Great for people that are required to climb or work at heights. They take a few weeks to break in, but they've held up better than some of my $300 pairs of boots. I've owned two pairs of these so far with zero issues in quality or wear. Wore the first pair daily for about 2.5 years and only replaced due to receiving funds to buy new work gear. ... show more

  • Great boots so far!
Size: 11 Color: Coffee Bean
I just received these yesterday (7/15/22) and so far they’re great. First Impressions: They’re visually great looking boots in my opinion. They’re a tiny bit darker in person than in the photos but that’s better for me. Pretty smooth leather all around with some nice breaking towards the top. They have a strong sorta minimal look as you can see in the photos. I’m, personally, not a big fan of other boots with so much on the outside like rubber toe padding. These are clean and great. Fit and Comfort: So far they’re incredibly snug (in a good way). They don’t suffocate my feet and they’re a pleasure to walk in. The fit is excellent. I’ve worn other shoes size 11 and while most fit well some run too large or too small but these are true to size. The Boa adjustment is also great as it evenly tightens the entire boot. Like every other high top boot it takes a some force to remove them. Features: This boot comes with some neat safety features that are useful for many trades. Since they have no steel/aluminum toe they are great against electrical hazards. The composite toe is light and protects just as fine for most situations. While there is no mention of puncture resistance I’ve asked in the Q&A before my purchase and some customers mentioned they are. Once they arrived I checked them myself and they do have a hard layer under the insole apart from the rubber sole under the shoe so while I wouldn’t recommend falling foot first into nails to test them out 😄they seem to offer at least some protection. Now the outside material looks like it might get tough to clean, specially if you work near a lot of dirt or cement. They’re work boots so I don’t think you’ll be able to keep them pristine if you work in tough conditions but regular oiling will at least make them last longer, it seems. —— Overall these are great looking and feeling boots. I will update after a few months use to give feedback on how long that comfort lasts and how they handle working conditions over time. ... show more

  • Built Well - Very Narrow
Size: 11.5 X-Wide Color: Coffee Bean
I purchased these mainly for the BOA lacing system so I could kick off my boots easier at the end of the day. I also assumed them to be a "lighter" style boot from the photos and with a composite toe instead of a steel toe. Maybe the fault is mine for assuming both these things. In reality, these are full-on durable work boots. They seem well made...though there is a section of "mesh" fabric cushioning the ankle/achilles that I can already tell will be the first thing to wear out and fail the whole boot. I would say they are just as heavy feeling as my old steel-toed Redwings. I purchased the wide size and man I cannot even imagine how narrow the regular ones are because these are tight even before I crank down on the laces. This means slipping them on and off is a pain and I think I might as well have gotten some standard laces. The weight I can get used to, but I am hoping the boots loosen up and get more comfortable as I break them in. If I cannot slip them on and off easily then what is the point? ... show more
