I am always in need a third or fourth hand to hold something. So I keep all sorts of clamps handy. This is the first one I have run into with a long narrow reach to clamp in tight areas. It has come in very handy. An added bonus is it is Non-conductive being made of some sort of glass filled resin. I can use it to hold electrical items in place without fear of shorting something out. The ratcheting teeth are a little too large for me but I understand being made of resin they can't be as fine as metal teeth and still hold up. I have always used spring tension clamps in the past and the spring tension varied from clamp to clamp within the same brand. When I needed a long reach clamp for my project and came across these with a ratcheting lock, I knew I found what I needed. The clamp tips are rubber pads, which is important. Why? Because most spring tension clamps have swivel plastic pads that can slip on smooth or uneven surfaces. With the relatively small clamp surface area and having so much weight on the handle these needle nose clamps tend to swivel around a bit when used. Sox???? Yeah sox. I have a fused back and have a hard time removing my sox. These are great. Clamp them on the top of the sock. Step on them with the other foot and pull your foot out of your sock. Soft tips mean you won't tear your sox.

I greatly appreciate these clamps! Long lasting, effective and fit into tight spots. Had two and ordered for more. Only problem was not available in local Canadian city so had to get fron US (exchange hurts a bit)

    • Well made, comfotable to use
I purchased these clamps to have them around, in case I needed to clamp something with several inch depth. These clamps are very strong, ratchet smoothly, and release easily. They are made of plastic and so are exceptionally light. I like them so much, that I am actually going to order more.

This clamp has a progressive action, using a tiny ratchet system, so the firmer you squeeze the handles, the more pressure is applied to the tips. Good for delicate glueing jobs.
