  • Works when installed correctly
When I initially bought it, I would drive around every day, so it seemed like all was well. I didn't drive for 1 and a half day and when I went to start the car it dropped the battery lower than what it needed to start the engine. I drive a 2022 Suzuki Jimny. Updated: I had installed the cabling using the hardware kit incorrectly, I opted to use the radio connection instead of the acc fuse slot. Their customer care was responsive and helpful . ... show more

  • Check your car before purchasing - not for Pacifica
I have a Chrysler Pacifica 2018. All 2017 Pacifica's and on have the fuse box in the engine. Also check your fuse sizes and owners manual for open fuse slots. You may have to purchase several wire connectors. Unless you want to void warranty, drill through the fire wall, or do some eclectic work for a Pacifica don't buy. Fire wall and warranty were both out for me so I looked in to doing the electrical work. I ended up sending my back because I my hands are big and I did not want to spend time on my belly. Here is what you need to do for a Pacifica. Supplies needs Wire cutters / strippers / crimper, two 22 -18 G T-taps (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MLPBPW5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1), wrench, fuse diagram, power meter, wire tape, two sided tape, and a plastic pry tool. 1) find the USB fuse in the engine box. Mine was in the engine off mode, move it to the always on position. I think mine was position 95, but look at your fuse diagram 2) run your wire from the center console to the camera using the plastic pry tool to conceal it. Note: this applies to using the standard 12v connector as well... if you are routing it by the window pillar you need to think about running it behind the air bag which requires a steady hand and removal of the trim. Be careful not to touch the airbag assembly. Most people just tuck it under the trim in front of the air bag which is probably ok as the force of the air bag will rip the wire out. 3) cut, strip, and crimp the male connector for the t-tap on the two wires with the fuses (yellow and red). At this point you cannot return the hard wire kit. 4) remove the two side panels at the base of your center console using the plastic pry tool. You now have access to the wiring. 5) find the 12V and USB wires 6) With the car off find the USB power wire with the power meter and clip the t-tap on the wire 7) with the car on find the 12v power wire with power meter and clip the t-tap on the wire 8) Find a metal bolt you can use to connect the black ground wire too. This is where you use the wrench 9) connect the yellow wire to the USB t-tap 10) connect the red wire to the 12v t-tap 11) make sure the USB (engine on and off) and 12V (engine off) still work 12) plug in you camera, perform the setting and make sure it works with the car on and off 13) use the two sided tape to mount the kits box somewhere out of site 14) use the electric tape to hold any wire in pace so they don't fall down when you are driving 15) snap back on the 2 center console trim panels 1 to 2 hour job based on your decision with routing the wire behind the airbag. Now you have the piece of mind knowing you can monitor the car in parking lots for stray shopping cars and idiot drivers. Based on the camera you probably wont catch the door dingers. If you are 21 and older have a beer ... show more

  • Love this company!!!
We have purchased 4 rear view mirror cameras and necessary parts from this company. Love them! They are a rare breed. They TRULY care about their customers, and it shows. We will continue to purchase from them in the future. Great company, great products!

  • Super easy
Install kit is super easy and straight forward. Plenty of wire as I had to go from the engine compartment to the mirror and had plenty of line to work with. 3 wires and that's it. Find an empty plug in the fuse box. One for ignition, one for constant then the ground. If your wanting to hardwire the camera this is the only way to go. ... show more

  • Worked well with my wolfdash cam
Wasn't to hard to install only thing you will need two fuse tap adapters that don't come with it. But quick stop to autozone fixed that.

  • Flimsy wire connectors & hardwired fuses!
This got the job done but the ground wire connector broke during install so I had to crimp a sturdier connector. Also, the two power leads have what look to be 15 amp fuses (they’re unmarked) hardwired into the buss connector. Worse, the fuse ‘housing’ is too large to fit snugly into the 2002 dodge dakota fuse buss slots so I had to trim them to ensure a good fit. After all that everything worked okay. Note that the instructions are tiny and unreadable in some pages. I had to take a picture with my phone and expand it to see the miniscule print. Bottom line: corrner cutting on quality made for an aggravating install. I don’t recommend this to a first time or unhandy person or someone who lacks the tools to correct for shoddy construction. ... show more

  • easy to use
I haven't driven at night yet, so I don't know how good it is. On the hardware kit, the power cable needs to be about 1 to 2 feet longer.
