This Wolf coffee pot is such a work horse! It makes delicious rich coffee, brews fast and is always consistent. I love that there is no steam released from the top so it can stay under the cabinet. It doesn’t have a hot plate but the insulated carafe keeps the coffee hot for long enough to enjoy a few cups of coffee. The reservoir is also easy to remove and fill.

Given this was a big investment, and I was very unsure whether it was insane or logical, I did my research. This brewer comes with a hefty price tag but it does not disappoint in terms of cup quality. I am a long time French press coffee drinker and wanted to make the switch to something a bit quicker and less work. This fills the bill. The built in scale was the clincher. It takes all of the guesswork out of the perfect ratio of coffee to water for the best possible cup of coffee. It is super fast and very quiet. Just a couple of minutes for a 4 cup brew. I love that you can adjust the brew strength. I like my coffee on the bold side so this works well for that. The carafe is very high quality and keeps coffee hot for a long time with no annoying burning from a hot plate. I love that there is no hot plate. It is very easy to use and offers an "idiot proof" cup of coffee of superior taste (and I use 8'oclock coffee). The only downside I have found is that you cannot fill the water reservoir for smaller brews, you can ONLY fill for the amount of cups per brew. Not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind. It is very easy to remove it and fill it however. Another BIG plus is the coffee basket pulls out instead of having to load from the top. HUGE plus on the design. Is it worth the money? I think it is if you want a perfect cup of coffee without having to figure out the ratio and you are someone who is short on time. Also, this is an "invest once" kind of purchase, no going through cheaper coffee makers every few years. This one should last a long time. In terms of time saved, it is much faster than my French press ritual and makes an equally good cup of coffee. I love it.

Had this for a couple of weeks. So far, the only 2 problems have been: 1) it didn't sit completely flat on the counter (and I tried different locations). I used double-stick tape to attach a piece of cardboard to one of the legs. This made it flat. 2) I had trouble trying to set the clock to 24 hour mode - it got into some dead end path. I had to back out and just use its default 12 hour AM/PM mode. That's okay. The pros: 1) It seems well made, 2) I like the detachable water container that is much better than my last coffee maker - trying to pour water into the top using the carafe was messy, 3) I like the accubrew mode - it's very precise in weighing the coffee. This makes the taste consistent. 4) The speed is pretty fast. 5) The stainless steel has a modern look and the red knobs are classic. 6) The wide mouth on the carafe makes it easy to clean. Although it's pricey, I think it is worth it. You are paying for the name, but it's also well-made.

I have been eyeing this coffee maker for more than a year. I did research, I compared features, I was tempted to buy something cheaper….. and then one day, while I was at the airport waiting for a flight, I saw this go on Cyber Monday sale….. and I bought it. Now I have it and I love it!!!!! I finally put it where it belongs. Close to the sink and right under the cabinet with the cups. Fridge with milk is on the other side…. I used to wait for my husband to get up and make coffee. I hated our old set-up where I needed to bring a pitcher of water clear across the kitchen. That was the only place with no upper cabinets. Now I have my Wolf coffee maker close to everything and it is amazing. I can’t wait to make coffee in the morning. The accu brew function is amazing. No more counting scoops. A pre-kindergarten person can do it. It brews super fast and the coffee tastes delicious too. (I have tried various coffee grounds, all turned out awesome.). Whoever designed this coffee maker is brilliant. It is practical, easy to operate, and it FITS under a cabinet. No steam dripping down, no pulling out the whole thing to fill it with water and coffee grounds. Love love love!! It is expensive, so it took me a loooong time to pull the plug and buy it. I don’t regret it. I further love that this machine does one thing and that really really well. I have had coffee makers that do different coffees and have all the bells and whistles. But the result was always the same a bulky machine making an ok cup of coffee requiring a lot of work. This one does one thing. It brews an awesome cup of coffee in a short time while standing under my counter and making me happy. That’s perfect for me.

I just came back to this amazing Wolf coffee machine to buy a THIRD one in four months and thought I’d write a review. I’m not a coffee drinker but my husband is and loves really good, higher end, dark roast coffee and grinds his own beans and has tried about every brand of coffee machines out there with some being around a thousand dollars. For his birthday I bought him this Wolf coffee machine after reading great reviews about it on every website I went to. He loves it! He swears it makes the BEST cup of coffee that he has ever brewed. We travel all over the country for his work so we have it in our motorhome. We went to our home in GA at Thanksgiving and he just couldn’t use his Bunn anymore after using the Wolf so we ordered another one to have for our home. Now he wants me to send one to my sister in Virginia and surprise her with a Wolf since she is also a big coffee drinker like him. At $600 I hope this is the last one he has me order! To have a great cup of coffee every morning like this makes, it’s worth every penny and it makes me feel very good to know that I got him a birthday gift that he loves this much! Besides brewing the best cup of coffee, it also looks good sitting on the counter with its red knobs that Wolf is known for. It’s perfect in every way! Highly recommend!!
