Given this was a big investment, and I was very unsure whether it was insane or logical, I did my research. This brewer comes with a hefty price tag but it does not disappoint in terms of cup quality. I am a long time French press coffee drinker and wanted to make the switch to something a bit quicker and less work. This fills the bill. The built in scale was the clincher. It takes all of the guesswork out of the perfect ratio of coffee to water for the best possible cup of coffee. It is super fast and very quiet. Just a couple of minutes for a 4 cup brew. I love that you can adjust the brew strength. I like my coffee on the bold side so this works well for that. The carafe is very high quality and keeps coffee hot for a long time with no annoying burning from a hot plate. I love that there is no hot plate. It is very easy to use and offers an "idiot proof" cup of coffee of superior taste (and I use 8'oclock coffee). The only downside I have found is that you cannot fill the water reservoir for smaller brews, you can ONLY fill for the amount of cups per brew. Not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind. It is very easy to remove it and fill it however. Another BIG plus is the coffee basket pulls out instead of having to load from the top. HUGE plus on the design. Is it worth the money? I think it is if you want a perfect cup of coffee without having to figure out the ratio and you are someone who is short on time. Also, this is an "invest once" kind of purchase, no going through cheaper coffee makers every few years. This one should last a long time. In terms of time saved, it is much faster than my French press ritual and makes an equally good cup of coffee. I love it.

Had this for a couple of weeks. So far, the only 2 problems have been: 1) it didn't sit completely flat on the counter (and I tried different locations). I used double-stick tape to attach a piece of cardboard to one of the legs. This made it flat. 2) I had trouble trying to set the clock to 24 hour mode - it got into some dead end path. I had to back out and just use its default 12 hour AM/PM mode. That's okay. The pros: 1) It seems well made, 2) I like the detachable water container that is much better than my last coffee maker - trying to pour water into the top using the carafe was messy, 3) I like the accubrew mode - it's very precise in weighing the coffee. This makes the taste consistent. 4) The speed is pretty fast. 5) The stainless steel has a modern look and the red knobs are classic. 6) The wide mouth on the carafe makes it easy to clean. Although it's pricey, I think it is worth it. You are paying for the name, but it's also well-made.

After several years of using a French Press, I wanted a coffee maker that would make a great cup of coffee, produce a quantity of more than 2 mugs, keep the coffee hot after brewing, and be simple to use and easy to clean up. The Wolf drip coffee maker with the thermal carafe gives me that and more! A great feature is that when I fill the water reservoir and add the filter and coffee grounds to make the coffee, I don’t have to slide the unit out from under the upper cabinet! Most importantly, it makes an excellent cup of coffee! Yes, this is a relatively expensive coffee maker, but for me, it’s been well worth the price - especially for something I use every single day.

The media could not be loaded. Replaced an old Cuisinart coffee maker with the Wolf. The Wolf produces far better coffee than the Cuisinart. Pro: - great coffee, cleaner taste, more aromatic - no steam output from the top making it safe under cabinets - easy access to the water tank and the coffee filter - simple controls - heavy duty - almost 10 pounds - coffee stays hot if you preheat the stainless carafe with hot water - 5 year warranty - FAST brew time - 6-7 minutes - Quiet brew Con: - price - I paid about $420 for the Wolf on sale with points. That is still a bargain compared to high end espresso makers that can top $5k. Thankfully, I’m not an espresso guy. I like this machine. It works well, fits my kitchen counter perfectly, no top steam release that can delaminate of discolor upper cabinets, very quiet (see video), is simple to use and clean and brews quickly, like 7 minutes. Coffee maker itself is fine and works well but we have had constant issues with the carafe. It leaks, has bad seals (water has gotten inside the carafe and sloshes around), and the poor fit with the lid causes coffee to spill everywhere when you attempt to pour. I reached out to Wolf customer support and asked for them to honor their warranty and either help to repair the carafe or provide me with a new one. To that request, they sent me a link to their website where I could purchase a new carafe for $179. Unreal. If you are going to charge 500+ dollars for a product, you need to stand by it and honor your warranty. Do not buy.

We did a lot of research on coffeemakers because we got tired of nasty pods snd poor selection of Nespresso grinds/flavors. Arguably looked at Wolf early since it matches all of our new appliances, but after researching and comparing features we pulled the trigger. One week in: whole family has Accubrew figured out. Highlights for us: Carafe is perfect for 2hr temp hold, water reservoir pulls out sideways allowing under cabinet operation, carafe is easy to clean (wide opening) and pours well, filter “drawer” is SOLID. This is a well-made unit that makes dialing in your brew easy. It’s fast, and the programming is easy. We got a nice Fellow grinder to use with it, and making coffee is fun again. You get what you pay for. I’d buy again. 07/31/25 UPDATE: Still love everything about this unit with one caveat: no matter what you do, one drip runs down the front of the carafe after every pour. It literally drives me nuts as said drip goes under the carafe and winds up on whatever surface you set it on. $20 Mr.Coffee units don’t do this. 😒
