I love the product but I've had it for a few days now, and some pieces keep falling off, have tried adding other adhesive strips in hope it would help but they're still falling. The product itself it great, I love the lights and the tone it adds to my room.

These were the biggest pain in the azz to hang up, and they kept falling down, even if one stayed up another would fall and drag down two more since they are all attached (because of the wires.) They lasted less than 6 hours. Ended up having to cut the wires off and remove the sticker cubes. Gonna just use command strips to hang only the flat tiles up now. They seem like a great idea but they are NOT. SAVE YOUR SANITY and just buy the flat self adhesive hexagons. I've bought both, and completely regret these. The 3 photos are what they look like up... Then after they all fell down... then after I cut all the wires and pulled off the sticker cubes. All photos taken in one day. Ugh. ... show more

I ordered two sets of the starlight panels. They are slightly smaller than the average fiber board panels you see here on Amazon so be aware of this when purchasing. I wanted to place these on the ceiling and make a small star ceiling. I used the foam pads that are provided but ended up pin nailing them with 18 gauge nails as they wouldn’t stay with the adhesive that is on the pads. This is understandable as I’m not sure they are necessarily designed to be mounted upside down on a ceiling. This method worked great. The nails are not even visible as they get set slightly below the foam. As I did this by myself it was a challenge to these old shoulders but if there are two people it would make it much easier. The larger lights as pictured in the photo I uploaded seem to have more of a glow but this is because of the camera not the lights themselves. I am very happy with the lights but especially with the seller. I had a couple of technical questions for them and the were very responsive and caring. One of the questions I had was a result of the way I installed one of the sets. One of the remote sensors plugs had come loose and I was easily able to open up the housing and plug it back in. It has been a long time since I received timely and caring responses from any company let alone one here on Amazon. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and were a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again. ... show more

Firstly, these panels seem well-made. They feel pretty dense, the adhesive backing works well and makes installation easy, and they do work to cut down room echo and can help deaden a space. From a quality perspective, and from what I expected from them, they deserve five stars. However, I'm removing a star because the description says in multiple places that these are "soundproofing," and they most decidedly are not. This is not a failing of the product, just the description, since soundproofing is a lot more complicated than just sticking tiles on a wall. Soundproofing a room is a complicated, expensive affair, which can involve significant renovation to actually accomplish. What these panels can do is reduce echoes, and add a little extra mass and depth to a wall or door. This can cut down on reflected or transmitted sound, but it will not (for example) block out the noise of an inconsiderate neighbor or crying baby. There are no tiles you can buy to stick on a wall which will do much better than these do; to cut down on noise, you need lots of surface area and/or mass to absorb sound energy. If you're expecting to buy one or two packs of these and solve problems with noise, you will be disappointed. Just for fun, and to prove my point about soundproofing, I took sound readings with a decibel meter outside the room I used these in before and after hanging the panels up. All readings were taken with the meter at the same distance from the door, and with a speaker playing broad-spectrum white noise at a consistent level from inside the room. Background noise from other rooms was kept consistent during the readings, and I used the minimum levels seen while taking a reading to be as fair as possible. My control reading with the meter (with the door closed, and no panels installed) was 46.6dBA. 12 tiles covered just over half of my door, and reduced sound in the hall by about 0.5dBA, to 46.1dBA. This isn't nothing, but it's not soundproofing. That said, these absolutely have a purpose, and I'm very happy with these for my use case. I picked these up to put in my home office, which has a lot of hard surfaces and very few absorptive ones. Any noise generated reflects out of the room, and down the hall which also has very few absorptive surfaces to attenuate sound. I wanted to have something I could put on my door to cut down on echoes and provide a (very small) amount of sound insulation when the door is closed, and these have worked very well for that purpose. Sound and music in my office sounds much better and more natural, and the difference is pretty stark when the door is open and the tiles are against the wall, compared to when the door is closed and the tiles are exposed to the room overall. ... show more

First an most importantly- these were a lot easier to install that I thought. As soon as I opened the box and saw so many wires. I pushed the box away. Came back a few days later and decided to take on what I thought would be a headache. It was not. TIP: make sure you can pull the cords down while placing the panels on the wall so you can connect them all together at the bottom ... show more
