Very nice vinyl wrap. I used this on my WRX hood scoop and it cam out wonderful. I made a couple mistakes because this was my first time wrapping anything. Advice: 1. Watch a few YouTube videos on how to wrap things on a car. 2. Use small amount of dish soap and warm water to clean surfaces before applying. Wipe with alcohol to finish. 3. Do this is a cool garage as a cold surface will be much more effective to stick to. 4. DO NOT HEAT UP THE VINYL TO APPLY. THE HEAT GUN IS TO PULL OUT WRINKLES AND RE-POSITION (NOT TO REMOVE BUBBLES) 5. BUY MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU NEED.

I love the look of this product but it is a tad tricky to install. Trying to keep all the little bubbles out is quite tedious. Just be prepared to be patient. It will probably take about 3 times as long as you think it will to make it look perfect but the final product is worth it.

The product description covers exactly what you are buying: a 5' x 6' roll of vinyl. Even though it is titled as a 'kit', all you will get is a roll of vinyl in a cardboard box...there is no 'kit'.....no tools, and more importantly, no directions either. After you spend a couple of hours on YouTube you'll figure it out and once you are working with it the product performs as described. It's tedious, sometimes frustrating, but with patience and a friend to hold the heat gun you can make it work and achieve good results.

I was very excited about wrapping my hood, until it arrived and I opened the package and saw that there were 3 creases that repeated across the whole roll! I have done many wraps, but no matter how hard I tried,not a single crease would come out! The final product was horrible and after 3 hours or trying ripped it off. A refund or a new one would be great, but doubt that will happpen.

This is the product to buy! I tried some cheap vinyl to wrap the hood of my car and it was impossible to do. I heard great things about vvivid and they were all true. The heat activated glue was amazing. I could work with the vinyl then lock it in place with the heat gun. The air release pattern in the adhesive allowed me to press out bubbles without pulling up the vinyl all the way. I can't speak to the durability or the longevity of the product because I just put it on yesterday. It took me about five hours to do my hood because it was my first time wrapping anything. If you are going to try to wrap anything by yourself I would recommend watching videos and learning how to install it the right way. Make sure you know what to look for so you don't get a imitation or fake product. Get real vvivid vinyl! There are people selling counterfeit vvivid products. It will be either impossible to install or at worst damage your paint.

The pattern and thickness of the vinyl is very good but that’s where it ends. The backing paper continually ripped and got pieces stuck on the vinyl, making it impossible to fix. I had to throw away the entire piece i bought… had i know that this was going to be an issue, I would have avoided buying this. Now I’m out almost $50 bucks
