It’s my first time buying grow lights and I’m growing carnivorous plants specifically so these were exactly what I was looking for and work wonderfully. I also love how you can connect the power cord on either side of the light bar! I’m using two of them together and the light quality is excellent. It will get the job done (I hope without falling on top of seed trays) but it is very poorly made. It's bright enough and compact enough to put in a corner. I just guess we don't get great quality from Amazon any more. Next time I want better garden supplies I will order from a garden company. This will due in a pinch but it's very flimsy and don't expect it to last. Sad state of affairs that we just keep accepting such poor cheap items, myself included :( ... show more

Works great, better than the high-cost Barilla I have. Wish it would come with 2 lights. I think the PVC tubing is a bit cheap. But the lighting is the best range even over high dollar set ups. Wish they sold the lights individually.

The spectrum of light rays are not good for growing. My seedlings sprouted over a month ago and under these lights (two lights over one tray as pictured) they still aren’t growing their first set of true leaves. Have started indoor seeds for years and have never had this problem. My previous grow lights (lost in a move) were far superior. Get what you pay for. ... show more
