Some of the best shadows I've ever used have come from Wet & Wild. Unfortunately this collection leaves a bit to be desired. It's not that the palette is completely lousy - it's not - but it could just be better all around. This set is intended to give you a neutral smoky eye. The base is a matte cream, and the only way you can get it to actually leave something on your eyes is through generous application of a primer. And setting spray. And some more setting spray. The lid color is dishwater grey, and if you put some effort into it you'll get at least some pay-off. Not a whole heck of a lot, but some. The crease shade is a bit too shimmery for my taste, but it's pretty unoffensive (I think it's supposed to be a maroon-ish brown) and there is some pigment there (pigment! We like pigment! Yay!). The shade in the center is my favourite (by far). It's buttery, very easy to work with and it can compliment just about any other colour you might want to play around with. And then we have a shimmery brow highlighter which doesn't really do much. All in all, this was a bit of a disappointing set. ... show more

Can't go wrong with Wet n Wild cosmetics! I've been using them for 25 years, and the are just as good as the higher priced products. Also, Wet n Wild is cruelty-free, no animal testing!

Really great eyeshadow for such a low price. It is heavily pigmented, not quite MAC, but pretty darn close.
