    • Great chargers and great batteries for an affordable price.
I bought two of these chargers and two batteries both made by Stk/sterling tek. I got them because they were really cheap in price and i was about to go to a convention to take videos and photos for a website I work with and I needed more batteries. Now when I ordered them I was expecting them to be ok but not that great because, 1. I had never heard of this company and 2. They werent the 60 dollar name brand canon batteries. but I didnt feel like paying 120+ for two batteries and two chargers so I went with stks chargers and batteries. The batteries are great though, through out the whole 2 days I was at the convention I used only 1 Stk battery (didnt even need to use my one canon brand battery.) and the charger is also pretty damn good too. It may not be as fancy as the canon chargers but it still does its job splendidly and for the price its a steal. Now I have only had these batteries for a couple of weeks so I cant really comment on longevity of the batteries but ill be sure to update this review in a couple months. ... show more

My husband ordered this charger for me when, for the life of me, could NOT find my LC-E6 that came with my Canon 7D MarkII. With 5 little kids, things are easily misplaced around here. Boy, am I glad we did! I was extremely hesitant, as I was concerned about the quality of this charger. -The only difference is the charging light. It does not blink to let you know where you are on the charging level. It is instead, a constant light: either orange for charging, or green for ready. *Added bonus, the car charger!! It works fantastic. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. It has far exceeded my expectations. It is now my backup, as we found the original. If you're at all hesitant as I was initially, just take the plunge, it's well worth the price, considering that the canon is almost 4-5x this amount. ... show more

I have only used this item for a short period of time, but I wanted to comment on the prime service that went along with the purchase. Shipping was speedy, item was properly packaged, labeled. Price was competitive. The car charger is an added bonus. Works well, can't tell a difference between my canon charger and this one in terms of time of quality. The plastic material is not as sturdy as the canon charger, but it's quality nonetheless. There is a light change that tells you when charging is complete. Sterling Tek follow up with you on delivery and quality of product and guarantees 1 year warranty should anything happen. I honestly can't think of a reason why I should purchase the original canon charger for over 5 times the price instead of this one. ... show more

This is a generic charger, available under various brands. I have them branded STK, Maximal Power and Vivitar for four different models/brands of cameras. They are two-piece units with the top sections being different to accept the particular battery design they are to be used for. I really haven't noticed but I expect the lower section is the same on all the units with the top section being wired for the different locations of the battery contacts and, presumably, the variations in voltage. Some come with USB outlets, some with European adapters included and all have various versions of car plugs to use while traveling. All the chargers I have seem to work fine although none of them are my primary chargers. For that purpose, I use the camera brand charger and keep these generic chargers as backups. Since these chargers are for backup, I've only used them briefly and I cannot judge how they will work if used frequently over a long period. For the brief periods I've used them, they appear to function well. I have used off-brand batteries for my cameras in the past and I've had no problems with any of them other than having a shorter charge/lifespan than the camera branded batteries. I suppose there could be some incompatibilities involved in some brands. ... show more

So far so good. Fast shipping and the product worked as described. I noticed the red light indicator didn't turn green after about 2 hours of charge but the battery shows full when I put it in the camera.

Seems to work so far - we bought this because we lost the one that came with the camera. Only difference between this charger and the cannon charger is that the Cannon had different flashing speeds to indicate how much the battery was charged. This one just changes red to green (when ready). Also, this one comes with a car adapter to charge as well (not a major plus, but nice to have). This seems like it may take a tad bit longer to charge, but overall the price of this battery is way cheaper than buying a branded one and it works just fine! ... show more
