My kayak seat is so uncomfortable so really wanted something to take that let me stay out on the water longer! I used the seat cover for the first hour and removed it the second hour. Worked wonderfully, so comfortable. Feels really good and makes a big difference.

Arrived on time. Cover fit perfectly. Used 2 days straight AND NO BUTT ACHE!!! Dried quickly when got wet ( gotta love rapids!) Only one concern. No place to hook on carabiner so can secure in kayak. Hopefully it floats, but kinda doubt it...

Seems to be of good quality. Nice and thick, but really squishy. I'll use it in a Oru Kayak under the stock seat cushion. Name brand Oru cushion is $69. This is a deal at less than half that price. Hope it holds up for years.

Overall, I like this seat. I do quite a bit of canoe camping and spend a fair amount of time in the boat. The seats in my Old Town canoe are the stock ones with nylon strapping material as the 'cushion". As I get older, the seats have become less comfortable on my posterior. I ordered this pad to help alleviate that. Overall, I like it, but there is one kind a glaring issue I have with it. As my canoe seat is kind of a bench-style seat with no back, the pad has a tendency to fall off when I adjust positions. If my seats were the more modern, plastic style ones, or a kayak style with a back, this probably wouldn't be an issue. Once your out of the canoe, this seat is quite comfy as a sit-pad. Overall, I like it and I'll probably figure out a way to secure it so it doesn't slide around. ... show more
