For the price I’m actually pleasantly surprised at its sturdiness. I’m 9 months pregnant and have no man at home and I built this thing myself ladies lol. It comes with all the tools you will need & there is a slight stinkiness to the cloth but not intolerable. Maybe let it air out for a day before putting your things in it. Easy to build just make sure you read a few pages ahead before you put some pieces on backwards like I did… Overall good piece.

They recommend two people put it together. At times in the beginning, I needed to either put weighted items around the foundation to fight gravity, or have someone hold the 2nd shelf while I placed the screws. If you can have help, definitely use it in the beginning steps, especially since the manual INSISTS REPEATEDLY that you do not screw the screws tight. However, this makes it more likely that one of the foundation legs will dislodge, pulling out the little plastic piece inside the shelf hole for the screw. That left one side of the shelf slightly damaged and uneven. Luckily, the shelf still functions well enough as such.
