A shoe needs to be, most importantly, comfortable. This one has a wide toe box and great stability. Supports my high arches and the slight supination of one foot beautifully. The shoes felt a little snug but relaxed after a few hours of wear and now they are perfect. Have been wearing daily for the last two weeks and I am very happy with these shoes, especially as I have limited mobility due to an accident and have been working to improve my strength and balance. Based on my experiences, I highly recommend and will be ordering more. By the way, I ordered the green shoe which is a soft sage green with pale blue undertones and the color works well with just about anything. Unusual, yet very versatile and pretty.

I love these shoes so much that this is the second pair in a new color that I bought. The shoe gives good support, the toe space is comfy, the heel is close and does not slip, the strap helps the shoe fit well, nothing rubs raw on my feet, even without any socks! I can wear these all day with no issues. These shoes are very comfortable and pretty. I'm impressed with all the color choices!

I wear a 10.5 med. These fit. They are a smidgen wide in the heel, but when I add my orthotics, it's not bad. No rubbing. I tried a thick pair of sox, too much. So...bare-footin' is working out, with these shoes. Not certain if these are true leather uppers, but no off-odor with them, so could be real leather. These shoes do not have a thick sole, so they may not last so long as my usual brand (Keen), but these were way less expensive and cute. I ordered the navy. It's a very dark navy, might be able to pass for black, they are that dark. Look good with jeans. Wore them for the first time today and was complimented on them. Nice room in the toe box, not too generous and not tight at all. I won't feel bad getting rid of an old pair of black leather Mary Janes. These are working out nicely.

I bought these shoes in light gray (6 1/2) for my teenager with tiny feet, who needed a pair of walking shoes for a school trip that could be worn with professional clothing in hot weather. (The dress code required knee-highs or stockings for all non-boys!) The sizing is true, at least in the 6 1/2. She doesn't usually like leather shoes because she finds them confining, but these made her very happy. (Her foot isn't wide; she just likes sneakers 24/7!) They lasted all seven days walking in Washington, D.C. without causing discomfort or blisters, and they're still going strong. (The other pair of shoes she brought stayed in her suitcase.) After the trip, she continued wearing them on her bare feet. She transitioned to wearing them with socks and jeans in the fall, and she likes them just as much. I don't think I'd wear socks with shoes that had fisherman-sandal-type openings, but she's cool with it. We're probably going to buy her the black, too. (I love the green!)

These shoes arrived and are more of a Candy Apple Red, not a true red. Even with monitor differences, it is still off. Others have mentioned this color not being well represented by the listing photos. I am returning for this reason as it clashes with the outfit I intended to wear them with. That being said, I also ordered the shoes in the Navy size at the same time and am keeping those. The shoes are surprisingly comfortable and the insole is plush. The shoe buckles with velcro, and I have a high arch and my foot is not bothered by these shoes. They are made of man made materials and probably won’t last long, but they are comfortable and cute
