Where do I begin? I can not tell you how amazing these knives are. I had been looking for a knife set that had the right amount of steak knives, and the right variety of other knives, as well as not break the bank. If you're needing to check off all of those boxes, look no further. These knives are sharp, well made, look great, feel great, and have a built in sharpener. I would buy them again and again. The knives are beautiful and have a good weight to them. Hopefully they last a long time. Very sharp but does have a sharpener built into the knife caddy. My only complaint is the caddy points the knives more upright so getting them out of the sockets is difficult since I store them on the counter under a hanging cabinet. Would have been nice to have it tilted a bit more. ... show more

I am pleased with the quality for the price. These are not going to be the amazing top quality knives like other brands, but you're also not paying the price for those either. When I got the box all the pieces were there, but I wish the knife holes and knives had a number system so you aren't guessing what goes where when you're trying to put them in the block for the first time. I read reviews where people get shorted some knives, but I did not experience this. I also read reviews where the knives started rusting after 1 or 2 uses. I've not experienced that yet either, although we hand wash all of our dishes, and I make sure to dry the knives and put the back in the block immediately after the dishes get washed. Pros: 1) The knives and the scissors came extremely sharp. 2) It's nice that they put a sharpener and a blade honer on the block. Those seem to be of decent quality. 3) The knives fit my hand well and are balanced well. 4) Affordable and the quality matches the price. 5) I like that they are all one piece. The last set of knives I had had plastic handles on the side, and those started breaking off over time. There is not plastic on these knives to break off. Cons: 1) The block seems like a cheaply painted block of wood. Nothing special about it. The block I had before actually swiveled and this one doesn't. 2) I wish the knives were labeled on the handle instead of the blade telling what kind of knife they are so you can get the one you want without having to pull it out of the block first. 3) The steak knives are serrated and with my knowledge of serrated blades I don't see how the sharpeners can sharpen the steak knives. 4) The handles seem to be hollow so time will tell how long they last. I was expecting them to be very heavy, just by the look of them, but they’re actually not very heavy and perfectly balanced. They are extremely sharp right out the box and they look nicer than the pictures online. If they last as long as they look, they were a fantastic price.

I bought these for myself and bought another set as a Christmas gift. Super sharp and I like that there's no risk to trap water since they are all steel throughout. Only time will tell with quality but I am super happy with the price as well
