Book 4 has humor, danger, murders, mystery, magic, shifters, witches, and the elusive shark shifter. Hali and Gray's relationship keeps growing and the merrow keep pushing. Highly entertaining.

This is an entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. If I can cast of characters in an entertaining storyline. Holly is a witch and a Florida beach town. She owns a tiki bar on a resort by a wealthy man who ran into her with a golf cart and settled with her by giving her a tiki bar and a condo on his resort property free of charge. She runs it a ton of scenery from his resort and his her own woman and boss. Her boyfriend is a shifter private eye and she comes from a family of witches. She keeps the peace on her stretch of beach and is allied with a group of sirens who keep an eye on the ocean near the beach. Yet there’s always something going on either paranormal or wicked humans doing something. One way or the other Holly under friends always seem to get involved and have to help figure out what’s going on. Read on and see what adventure they are into this time.

Very good story. Big trivia tournament on the island. When a tourney employee is found dead, the race is on to find the murderer. Could it be the shark shifters? I really liked this mystery. I look forward to reading the next book.

Hali and Gray have come a long way in such a short time. They are really good together. I love how he wants to take care of her without undermining her independence and just how respectful he is of her. Also, it is so good to see someone in a paranormal book with a chronic condition! That is definitely something I can relate to and I love Hali handles it. How it makes her more of an empathetic person as well. Thank you Lily Harper Hart for making a character like this. I loved the appearance of the shark shifters and some of the other paranormal factions that popped up. It made the storyline even more interesting. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would recommend to anyone who is fans of paranormal romance with mystery thrown into theme mix!

Charming story that grabs you from the 1st page! It's cute, fascinating, and keeps you invested til the very end! Now I have to get the next one!

I just love Hali and Gray as a couple. We get to hear from the sirens, Bod, and Vin in this one, though briefly. The vampire is a favorite. Wayne seems to be taking what Gray is saying to heart. In this book we meet some shark shifters who ate also lain sharks. Halo gets a kick lit of that. A trivia tournament is in town and being held at the resort. Lana is part of it. A murder happens and the mer return. Lots going on and Gray just wants to protect Hali. Told from both Halo and Gray's POV.

That characters are developing well, the relationships also. Its fun to watch the characters grow an the plot lines are interesting. Its hard to identify the culprit of the murders

So far, this series isn't one with a lot of sturm und drang but it doesn't have to be in order to be extremely entertaining. Maybe someday we'll find out Hali is the center of a dark prophecy but right now we get pages and pages of a young witch in love and it is great. The mystery is fun too and the classic Hart fantastic character moments and it all adds up to money very well spent when you buy this book!
