This work really well even though it's not "name brand". I had someone who works for the place I got my cricut machine from sit there and tell me that I need the "brand" ones if I want my machine to work properly, at first I was just going to believe them and since my machine already came with everything I didn't need to buy any, well I got a new cutter machine and wanted to do some test pieces, I didn't want to use my cricut machine mat, so I got these, I have been using them ever since. I didn't realize these were meant for a machine when I ordered them, but I think they should still be usable when cutting by hand. I don't need to cut things that often, but thought these would be handy to have around. They're sticky, and the green one is stickier than the blue one, and they're labelled as such. I like the idea of being able to hold things in place securely while cutting, but it does mean having to peel the plastic off and put it back on each time. But I don't know how else you'd keep them sticky, and they seem like good mats! ... show more

These two cutting mats are the perfect size for a Cricut Joy machine. I like the length. I also like that one lite and heavy grip stick mats are paired together instead of two of the same. I especially like the affordable price of them.

These are replacing my old mats that came with my cutter. They feel just as sticky as the old ones did when new. I was so happy to find these and am very impressed with the quality of these mats!

These have a sticky surface that is nice to hold your fabric in place but it's a little difficult to remove paper. Also you have to reapply the plastic cover sheet to keep the adhesive surface clean after use. But they're pretty inexpensive to definitely worth having on hand
