Firstly, The sand color is much darker than the pictures or video on the listing. It is almost more of a light brown. Luckily, I felt it still looked good on my dog so I don’t mind that much. Secondly, it seems like the quality is not consistent. I bought a medium first but due to the extra material folded around the buckle I could t extend the length as far as on other collars and do it fit my dog a little small. I figured I liked it enough to keep it for my smaller dog and order a size large. When the large arrived, the hardware was cheaper and smaller than the hardware on the size medium. It already looked worn and scratched and the buckle is hard to put on and off because it gets stuck. In my pictures the medium is on the left and the large is on the right. I really wish the quality was consistent because I was happy enough with the medium to buy a second and unfortunately took the tags off the large already thinking it was a no brainer. UPDATE: the seller reached out to me after my review to apologize and let me know they have updated their hardware since a lot of people were having problems, but that Amazon must have unknowingly sent me an old one. They sent a new one with updated hardware immediately and I swear it got here overnight. I really appreciated this and can see that the new one is so much better quality, just like my smaller one. Additionally, both original collars and leashes have held up very well to daily use. Even the outdated collar still has held up to pulling from my 80 lb German Shepard on daily walks and washes off very nicely. The leash looks brand new even after I let it drag through the dirt and on asphalt while my dog played with a visitor. I definitely noticed a metallic smell on my dog the first week wearing it and was worried it would stick, but it seems to have worn off now that the collar is more worn in. This is definitely a sturdy set.

Not only do I really love the color of the leash and collar, it's so easy and convenient. Rain isn't a problem if it gets dirty you can wipe it off with a wet cloth. Not only that, but it doesn't get messed up because of scratching. The only problem I have with it is the bag holder, which I have to fight with to get a bag out, and the identity tag broke off within a week of having it after my dog was playing with another dog. Other than that, I love everything about the set. No color fading, no fraying, no nothing. It's still beautiful and intact. EDIT: Now that I’ve had it for some time and have other dogs, they do play pretty rough and there is a lot of collar biting. The collar still holds up fantastically, but it does not withstand bites very well as it now has several punctures in it. Still wearable and you can’t tell from a distance. I still absolutely love this collar and leash, but I mainly use a different leash now for walks.

The collar wouldn’t hold in the correct position after a while. It kept loosening up to the largest setting which was annoying. I ended up buying a new collar but I love the color and the leash+poop bag pouch!

The leash material is weird. It’s not very sturdy I guess. Doesn’t weigh anything and feels like it’ll break easy. The clasps are well made tho. The collar is the same weird material but the buckle is nice. The tag is cute but nonfunctional with no name. It’s okay for the price

I’ve had this set for maybe three years and it still does so well once in a while I will casually clean it with a wet towel. I the biggest size for my German Shepherd, and she looks so cute in it.

I have a bluenose pitbull who has a special talent of breaking the metal clasps of collars when she plays; though it's only been two months, so far this collar has held up! I love that it doesn't seem to loosen as she wears it, like so many others we've gotten in the past, and being waterproof allows a little leverage in the tub on the rare chance she tries to escape during a bath. My only complaint is the collar and leash had a strong rubber smell when I first opened it. That said, I placed it in the outside portion of a windowsill to air out and, after a week, it didn't smell at all. I liked just the collar so much I even bought a second set in a different color for our other pittie! Though I prefer a leash with a second, traffic-handle to walk my dogs, this leash is nice and has worked in a pinch when bringing loose neighborhood dogs back to their homes.
