Trust me, just buy this.
I was on the search for a hammock stand, and tried some of the “cheap” sellers on Amazon, and was disappointed every time. Decided to throw a bit more money at my search, and landed on this. I should have just done this from the beginning. Arrived in wonderful condition, took less than 5 minutes to set up, and feels great. Sturdy quality, and bolts/caps were perfect. No fly-nuts to be seen. Fits my Eno Double wonderfully, and I’ve already started looking at Wise Owl’s equipment as well. Trust me, don’t try and skimp on a cheap stand for half the price, just get this one, and you’ll be happy from here on out. I was so impressed, I have ordered a second for my camping gear.

Nice and solid!
I took a risk and bought this without any reviews. I own other Wise Owl products and have yet to be disappointed. I wanted a stand that would hold my Wise Owl single person hammock and trusted WO to produce a solid stand. They have! Though heavier than I initially thought it would be, this stand is solid. The no slip feet twist around so you can stabilize the stand. The bars fit together easily, though I knocked a star off because when you pull the bars apart to disassemble, the paint scraped off (see pictures). The instructions could be improved, but I figured out assembly based on pictures. It is simple once you identify which bolts go where. I have the single hammock and it suggests using the third hole to hang it from. But my hammock was not long enough so I moved it up to the second hole and it holds the hammock at the perfect height. This stand was not as big as I initially pictured it, which was awesome because I want it to fit on my small apartment patio. As seen in the photos, it fits with room to spare! I am very pleased! This is day one, so time will tell how durable and lasting it is. I would like it in black, rather than this olive green, and better paint that does not so easily scratch off would be nice. I have not tried other stands so I cannot compare. But for my first hammock stand experience, I am happy with my purchase.

Awesome hammock stand
Great design, easy to put together by myself, super sturdy. It is a bit heavy, but I don't plant on taking it apart and moving it much (plus I'm a bit of a wimp). It is nice to have the carrying bag just in case. The C O L O R is a delicious green-mud-nature-moss-shade that I love SO much. It was the fact that it was such a nice, pretty hammock stand that I wanted to get it at first glance, but after researching and looking around a bit, it looked like the best one overall that we could get. I like to go camping and the thing I always miss most is resting in the hammock. Dunno why it took us so long to get a stand so we can have a hammock indoors all year long, it's great. The stand + a hammock is the most comfortable thing we have, so relaxing (I'm autistic and always uncomfortable and tired, so it is just perfect). Our cats are starting to get used to it enjoy it too (another reason I was looking for something very sturdy-- so it'd be safe to have around the kitties). Oh the instructions were a little difficult to understand, but once you figure out what goes where, it's super simple.

I think this is (finally) the one
I debated between this one and one of the many generic cheaper options that look similar (which is what I've always had in the past). I'm very glad I spent the extra money for this one for a number of small reasons that collectively really add up. The shape is just a little bit smarter, with a higher slope to the legs that means the cross bar's screws don't rub against my deck like past hammocks have (you can see the rub marks leftover from past stands if you zoom into the photo); the arms are a little shorter and a little more angled than other options - you can hardly tell from the photo, but it seems like that makes it sturdier and feels like it'll last longer. The screw caps are bigger and easier to turn than other models and it's really nice to have those caps on the hammock hooks so the ropes don't get caught up on those. Where the pieces fit together, unlike other stands where you have to push against friction to get the pieces to fit together and then carefully align them so they're on far enough but not too far, this one slides together more easily and then has little nubs to make sure they sit just right. And I can't tell if the little feet make a difference in themselves, but this stand definitely sits more steady and is much more solid as you swing the hammock back and forth, so something they did is right. Overall, costs more than some of the other options out there, but I think the difference is totally justified and worth it.

Pretty OK. Half-baked design limits real portability.
TL;DR—It works. The price is good. Better but more expensive options available (shocker). Design makes real portability a little sketchy. What I liked:
The price. Good value for $120. The next comparable model (from Eno) is about $100 more (most of the time). Sturdy/it works. It’s sturdy when assembled. It supports me and lets me sway with no wobble. Easy, fast setup/teardown. Casual setup in about 4.5 mins. Teardown and in the bag (sort of) in about 3.5 mins. A little longer. I’m taller, so having a longer stand is a plus. I believe the comparable Eno is about a foot shorter. What I didn’t like: I wanted a portable stand. Wise Owl markets this as a portable stand, but all the fiddly hardware—and especially the lame storage bag—makes me think they weren’t serious about backing up that claim. This one is probably better to assemble and leave alone.
Every assembly knob (6) comes with its own washer. That’s six washers and knobs for you to keep track of (maybe at your campsite) during assembly/teardown. Not sure how vital the washers really are, but Wise Owl should have supplied a little sack or pocket in the storage bag for all the hardware. The bag--awful. It isn’t big enough to comfortably fit all the pieces and easily zip. I keep it open a bit at the top, because messing with the zipper is dumb. Wise Owl: give the bag an extra half-inch of bag space, and I—and several other reviewers—aren’t leaving this comment.
What to watch out for: The painted pieces will scratch with repeated setup/teardown. If you have a can of spray paint laying around and aren’t too concerned about aesthetics, pretty easy fix—but still a fix. Might cause rusting issues if you don’t stay on top of it.
Some reviewers (from 2-3 years back) have complained about receiving wingnuts instead of the pictured plastic knobs for attaching the hammock hooks. I can imagine wingnuts tearing a hammock. I didn’t experience this.
Some reviewers have complained about the bottom-most knobs hitting the ground before the legs, making the whole stand wobbly. I also didn’t experience this.

Easy assemble and great for hammock lovers
Sturdy and easy to assemble. Comes with carrying case for mobility. Perfect for the porch for me to lay out in hammock and take a nap listening to the night. Would be a great purchase for someone who loves hammocks but doesn't have trees or places to tie up a hammock. Glad I purchased.
