This is very light weight and compact vs a similar size blue tarp from the hardware store. It is thin. But I walked on it to get to my hammock and had no issues with it. Value for money and it will keep underground moisture away ok three seasons. Not sure how it works on winter but the area it covers its nice for a picnic purposes too. It packs small and the quality of the materials are good for the price. I jst don't like the branded logo on the corner thats it.
