I’m not a camper. I’m not someone who ever really enjoyed roughing it. What I am is a truck driver. I drive a day cab, for those that don’t know what that means, it means it only has two seats and no sleeper. It’s for people who drive locally and go home daily. So when there’s a breakdown or some other long delay having to sit in a seat like that for many hours just waiting can be very uncomfortable. That’s where the hammock comes in. It’s super light so I can pack it with my tools. Meaning it’s not a burden to keep with me. I’ve balled up the straps pretty tightly and attached the to the ends. I then open the door put the end over the door frame and close the door. One end over each door and presto secure hammock over the seats. The hammock is made of thin strong nylon so fitting through the door jam isn’t a problem. It’s essential for making long wait periods tolerable.

This hammock is simply amazing. We used it on a weekend backpacking trip and I will never not use it! It packs up very small and is super lightweight, just around a pound. It’s easy to assemble - just find your trees or posts and attach the cables. We treated it with a tick repellent and it sustained its integrity. It fits well in the side pocket of a backpack. While it comfortably sits one person, I would not try putting more than one adult’s weight in it. It might be okay for 2 kids but even 1 teenager would be very cozy. Because it is so lightweight I would be cautious of the material tearing if too much weight is put on it. That said, if you are a solo backpacker or just want something to lounge in while camping, this would be perfect for that. Just follow their guidelines when purchasing and be cautious of breaking any rules! Have fun playing outside :)

Update 5/30/2019: Replacement hammock came and everything seems to be in order. Hopefully I won't have to update about any other mishaps because it's a great price for a great product! One more comment, I was reminded when I tested this one how nicely soft the material is against the skin. Love it. Update 5/28/2019: My hammock tore! It was left hanging on a beach with my vacation group while I was out in the water, and maybe that group put two people in it because later I noticed stretch marks right in the center of the hammock. Figured it would hold up. Napped in it without a problem, but as I shifted to get out, I plopped to the ground. I emailed the same thread from before (about the missing carabiner) with pictures, and within a few hours I received an email saying a new one is on its way. Still 5 stars for customer service and the hammock functionality. Hopefully this one doesn't have the stretching problem. I'll definitely make sure to tell those who use it not to load it to any extremes. Maybe I'll yell at my friends. Original Review: I already have a cheap double hammock and a mid-tier double hammock, but I decided to get this featherlight for an upcoming trip. The hammock and straps combined for this (both fit in the stuff sack) are the same size as my old Kammock Python straps alone, and I read in another review that it is a third of the weight. Feels like it's about that. My hammock was missing one of the wiregate carabiners, so I emailed them about it. Within maybe an hour or two I received a reply asking for my address so they could send me one. A few days later I get a package with two new wiregate carabiners, two standard carabiners (which weigh substantially more than the wiregate and make me glad I got the featherlight), and some stickers just for fun. All alongside a handwritten note as seen in my picture. I am used to good customer service because of the products I choose to buy, but this one went a notch above the rest. Very pleased. I have yet to use the hammock itself since it's an early Michigan spring, but it seems to be a great purchase. I am a bit worried about the seams as they are only single-stitched on the edges and the thread appears to be less robust than that of my other hammocks, but I'm sure it will be fine. Either way, $37 for such a portable hammock WITH straps is ridiculously worth it in my book.

Mine ripped clean down the middle at 5am while my 180lb friend was asleep in it. Feet side first, he was only wearing socks on that end of the hammock. Didn't reach out for replacement since my buddy ordered a different hammock before I even knew it. The ultralight one is definitely not as strong as the original. Disappointed in the quality, but I guess there price was right.

I wish this came w/ ultralight straps too, but it's a pretty small and light package overall and a great price so nbd. I got it on prime day for about $22 (hammock + straps) vs the ENO Sub7 normally at $70 w/ no rope or straps. I often use the WOO hammock with the ENO Fuse (spreader bar set) to create a tandem setup. My partner has the ENO Sub7. Having used both hammocks extensively, we really can't think of any good reason to pay that much more for the ENO. 7/5/21 update: So far (2 weeks in) I've use it for lounging on my covered and screened in patio, so it's not really exposed to the elements in any big way. Took it out to the park once. I'm now noticing a lot of stretch marks like some other reviewers have mentioned, and one thin "run" kind of like what you might see in pantyhose...I can see light through it. Perhaps it grazed a stick while packing up? Overall, doesn't seem to affect functionality. I'm hesitant to take away a star from the rating because ultralight gear generally sacrifices some durability for the decrease in weight and volume. I wrote the company...will update if I change my mind to knock down the rating.

Took this on a long trip, worked great. I was impressed by the low weight and I never ran into any issues with durability after taking down and setting up twice a day for 3 weeks. good product. I found this lightweight version to weight exactly what they advertise. could even reduce the weight more with lighter straps and carabeeners
