Wish I would have had one sooner . My awning is 22 ft . Long and it was starting to sag I’m the middle. Some of the newer models have them on from the factory . Works great should help it from sagging any further.

Beware - Arrived without any mounting hardware or installation instructions. Yet to install, but it looks solid. Follow up after installation, we have a string of LED lights from factory installed under the awning. The bracket sits right on top of it! We had to modify, cut about 1” off and drill another hole for the screw. Quick job since we had the tools, but be aware if your camper has an LED string installed right under the awning on the outside wall. ... show more

Why the RV manufacturer didn't install one of these is beyond me. My awning is 19' and at 20' they highly recommend a support. Mine doesn't bounce up and down now while towing our 5th wheel. IMHO, if it is over 10', buy one and install it. It will save you headaches down the road when your lagging screws tears out the side of your RV when the awning lets go. ... show more

This cradle support fixed the minimal sag developing on a brand new 21' awning. It would be nice to have some dimensions to use for install and fasteners. Other than that, the cradle works really well and is a great support for the awning.
