This thing is hard as a rock and looks cheap… but my dad LOVES it. The height from the floor to the cushion is perfect for someone who has a hard time getting up out of chairs. (Dads 5’11 btw) I bought this because his other chair was too low and the cushion was so soft he’d sink down into it and couldn’t get out without assistance. He’s very happy with it. As far as assembly good luck lol. The other reviewers are correct, the screws don’t line up and it’s impossible to put it together without another set of hands muscling it into place. In fact three sets of hands would have been nice. Took like an hour and a half because the one we got seemed to have extra issues. It’s a cool design but obviously made in a cheap factory. Ultimately you get what you pay for. Not sure how long this thing will last but for now it saves me hurting my back trying to help him up. ... show more

With all the reviews, I wonder would it be good and all. I mean it is one of the more affordable pieces so I wouldn't have expected it to be good or somewhat less quality. I got the chair on time and fast, because of Amazon Prime, the box was no torn or ripped in anyway. When I opened the box, everything was nicely packed and wrapped. I thought there was no screws or tools, because some of the other reviews. But there they were, at the bottom of the box. Assembly, as I was assembling it, everything fitted nicely, but you need to apply pressure to make it tight. If you think everything will just slide in, no, it won't. I have to push and hold certain pieces tightly together while I assembled it and it came out fine. The only problem with main was the on of the metal parts connecting to the main back piece was slightly off, but with a little effort, it fit. My only problem is the seat itself, it looks as if it will wear down it used a lot, but I will be adding another seat cushion and cover anyone. The seat itself is not very solid, inside, it is like metal strips holding the seat up and gives it flexibility. So I worry if people are too heavy or sit harshly, it will break and give way. But it is comfortable and does that job it needs to do. It is still a nice product so far... ... show more

I use it as a desk chair working from home— sitting 8 hours weekdays. Bought a few “office” ergonomic chairs that didn’t really seem to meet my back ergonomic needs. It’s really help alleviate most of my lower back pain.

We ordered two of these chairs for our office reception area. They came well packaged and on time. I found that as long as I followed the instructions and didn't try to just slap things together, the chairs were easy to assemble. 10 to 15 minutes per chair. You may have to exert some pressure to get the pieces to align, but this is mainly due to the padding on the chair parts. Once together they are sturdy and look nice. Not as shiny as in the picture, but look like leather. They are also slightly narrow. Chairs are well made and easy to put together however don't believe the instructions! They say the screws are in the bag with the hex wrench however, they are screwed into the pieces already and you have to remove them prior to building.
