These fixtures are very nice and solid. Great value for the money. However, be advised that the glass shades do NOT screw on or off by the nubs that look like they are holding them onto the frame. The shades themselves screw on and off INSIDE the shades. In other words, you have to remove the bulb, and unscrew a large nut in order to remove the shades for cleaning. Very much a bother! It would have much easier to remove for cleaning if those three nubs had indeed been screws that held on the shades. You know, like back in the olden days a couple of years ago. Before someone's college educated engineer who has never cleaned a thing in his or her life designed. You know, the same kid who designed refrigerator coils that need cleaning and put them on the bottom of the refrigerator. ... show more
