Fantastic for my needs-- I don't usually do reviews, but this deserves it. Whether you're like me and need another 500 battles for that shiny charm, or also like me and need it to run back and forth in the game for hours as you have a wrist injury, this controller works great! And at a great price; what can I say? I didn't feel like dropping $70 on an 8BitDo. I've been testing it and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised (I tried like 4 controllers, including the SwitchUp which was too complicated and buggy). Most Macro Controllers I've found don't map the Joysticks, but this will. You can also re-map the X/Y/A/B buttons if you wanted! Also, get this; the Macro paddles WORK with the Turbo button, so that means you can be completely hands-free if you wanted! Fully automated. You can slow down or speed up the Turbo, the strength of the vibrations, and change or turn off the RGB lights too. It makes shiny hunting easy for this game-- of course, the same for finishing up the battling. The included booklet is easy to follow as well so you don't need 10 YouTube tutorials. The fact it can also communicate with iPhone, Android and the PC gives me something I can also utilize for whatever in the future.

Bought this for Pokemon Legends ZA and couldn't be happier. I just unboxed it today and have been using it to shiny hunt and it works perfectly. I've never used a macro controller before, and didn't really feel like committing to the 8BitDuo controller just for this one game. (I am sure I will use it with others as well, but still.) Out of the box, the instructions were very clear on how to use the macro functions and the turbo. I got it working in less than 10 minutes. It worked well with the spam teleport method and bench method. I've been experimenting with the pacing and movement, which I haven't gotten down completely, but that is user error rather than the controller. I have to work on my timing. My only possible complaint with this controller may be that the joysticks are a bit looser than my normal Switch controller. I may fear drifting later on, but I would need to see how it holds up in the long run. But for now, 5 stars. I am pretty pleased with this controller.

This controller works well with my Switch and iPad. It feels decent enough quality, especially for the price. Compared with a real Switch controller, this one uses much more hard plastic. But functionally, its been great and nice to have an extra controller that won't break the bank. The major con of this controller however is that I need to pair it with my iPad every single time I want to use it. We mostly use this controller to play roms on our iPad. This takes about 30 seconds each time, so its not the end of the world, but still a pain.

If you're like me and realized that with a 30-40 battle per night average, getting to 1000 trainer battles will take awhile, I have good news. This controller will let you set up auto battles and for a very reasonable price. I set mine up for the switch 2 specifically, so I'm not sure how switch 1 loading times would impact it. But based on my setup, I believe it would still work. The controller is a cute color as well, and I actually like the "dazzling" light setting. Honestly I'll probably use this as my new PC controller. Here's my setup: Move the toggle to M and program the AL button: Hold ZL, press A, release ZL. Hold ZL, press A, release ZL. Repeat until the inputs max out, as this will auto save the inputs. Move the toggle to sensor mode. Stand in front of the desk person inside the cafe. Press and hold AL and press the turbo button once. Using this I was able to let it auto run for my last 250 battles. I'm sure you could set it up to AFK shiny hunt as well, but I haven't tested that. Attached photos were taken while the game auto battled in the background.

Test results, then a summary: A) iMac Pro: Sonoma 14.3.1 - BT Recognized as a Beats headset - didnt work - Wired USB - Immediately recognized as a PS3 controller in PC/M/PS modes then dropped after 2 seconds and "Not Found" - Didnt work - Left it connected anyways - in BT and Wired - Not recognized in Steam (Native), Boosteroid or Steam via Boosteroid. B) Lenova Thinkpad: Latest, updated Windows 10 - Recognized as XBOX 360 Controller when switched to PC Mode - The keys buttons are not only mapped wrong but labeled wron on the controller. The A and B are swapped, and the X and Y are swapped. You have to download an app like Antimicro to remap the button and then remember that your controller is labbled incorrectly. This is a joke of a mistake. Summary: If I was a native PC gamer who did not use Steam, Boosteroid, or other streaming gaming platform, who knew how to remap a controller this might work. For any other platform, or someone who isnt technologicially savy enough to remap the buttons - native or streaming, I would not purchase this controller at all, it doesnt work, its buttons are backwards...and pissed that I can't send it back - I threw away the box.

Terrific controller! For all the features the price is expectional! It pairs with anything very easily and that was important to me. I use it with all of my ipads and the Nintendo switch. It feels very well made and you can tell it will last a long time. I may get one for my granddaugter too. The buttons on the controller are easy to use and handle well. The grip on this controller really feels solid and responsive. The color pink is a vibrant pink. The pictures give you a good idea of color.
