The wireless CarPlay seems to get confused if you get in and out of your car, say running back into your house for something. You come back out and yes it connected, which is great. Until you realize that there is no audio. There is no dedicated volume buttons. So if your in car play you have to exit it tap the top of the screen, which mutes its and attempt to move a non physical volume slider on a less the perfect touch screen. You can use the included remotes. But they aren’t great. Too many extra steps for the simple task of raising and lowering volume. The “loudness” function confuses the eq. And will destroy your speakers if you’re not paying attention. Without loudness on, it lack any real substance in the sound and adjusting the eq sounds like loudness turns off and on with every screen press. Again popping your speakers. Overall, the CarPlay looks great with minimal lag. It comes with a ton of stuff, don’t bother with the steering wheel remote, only works when it is pointing to the stereo. I’m returning mine. I can get over the lack of eq function. The plan was to use it as a interface for amps and my phone. Nope, no volume buttons, for that reason alone it’s a no go.

I cannot speak to the sound quality as my speakers are small and 50yrs old, they do make noise and will be updated eventually. The carplay works but while using waze, the speedo constantly disappears and a couple of times the unit, while still producing sound would seemingly power down for no reason. This required shutting the car off to reset. The steering wheel remote works well but wish it didn't have a LARGE PURPLE IR eye. It just makes it look very out of place on a 1973 Mercedes SLC450...

Easy installation and wire color coding matches standard wiring. However Bluetooth will not pair with latest iOS devices running 17.2. Radio displays in list of devices but unable to pair. Also seems no way to contact seller or manufacturer and hopefully they respond to this message. Assuming defective and will order replacement.

This radio is Excellent for the Price. Easy installation if you are mechanically inclined. I have read that some people have problem with the volume using the remotes. I do not have this problem. You will need an antenna cable adapter depending on your vehicle. This is a few bucks, no big deal. Very please with the radio.

When hooked up could not get audio to come out of speakers when I disconnected the new radio from you and reconnected the old radio that was in the truck everything worked just fine. It was hooked up in a 95 Dodge pick up truck.
