Arrived within a day and ordered on a Sunday!! WoW Easier than making sandwiches to connect with my a7c AND a7cii. Both quickly discovered connected and paired with camera by pressing both shutter and + keys for 7 secs. The camera screen displayed all information for what to pair, pairing and paired. After testing the mkii with the shutter remote from up to 50ft away and through walls with not a problem, turned both camera + remote off for a few minutes, both reconnected without problem, though later noticed when I tested one camera, then returned to the other camera, I had to rePair again, BUT a very easy procedure that wouldn't take any time at all while I am outside and using the remote. Totally happy with this remote and highly recommended. The thing I liked most? Instructions are usually printed with tiny tiny print that requires a magnifying glass to read! WoW!! This was NOT that case, and was easy to read instructions that you don't really even need it's so easy. The only thing now is to see IF the camera battery dies faster due to BT being on - I discovered months ago with BT on, the charged battery left in the camera[s] ate away its charge, so I started removing the batteries. ~ 17July: Last night took the remote out to shoot fireworks at the Falls. My newest Sony cameras don't allow corded remotes which I really like - no battery in use nor to replace at the most inappropriate moment. Arriving a half-hour early, I extensively tested the remote in ALL aspects before I relaxed enough to not be paranoid it wouldn't work when it needed to. Granted I'd already used it outdoors the other night, but its functionality could've been rigged - hahahaa. With everything checked and rechecked, established it was good to go, and as the fireworks over the Niagara Falls disappeared into smoke as the wind was almost calm, the remote worked effortlessly, and almost as good as having the corded remote, but guessing I'll have to settle for this in the meanwhile! ... show more

    • [Updated] Worked fine for A7III. May not never work for unreleased bodies if you plan to update.
Update: The manufacturer reached out to let me know that the original SW (when I bought the remote) did not support A7IV, but the latest SW on shipping remotes does support A7IV. For my A7III, the remote worked fine. I only used it for shutter, but more or less worked the same as the Sony remote (which I used to own but lost). A little annoying the SW can't be updated as you move to new Sony cameras, so still a ding for that. Original: I used this phone for a few months with an A7III. Worked very similar to the official Sony remote that I had previously. Upgraded to the Sony A7IV and I can't get the remote to pair. I've done firmware updates but still nothing. ... show more

No lo uso muy seguido, pero las veces que lo he usado ha sido increíblemente eficiente, la calidad de los botones es sorprendete incluso tienen cierta sensibilidad que se compara un poco a la sensación de pulsar levemente el obturador lo que permite primero enfocar y luego tomar la foto, además de que se conecta bastante rápido con mi Sony A6400. I saw the details and the reviews so I thought that this would work for my cameras. I have a Sony A6400 and A7III - it did not work with either of them. It would not connect with the A6400 at all. I followed the instructions and re-tried a few times, but no luck. It would pair with the A7III but the shutter would not work with the remote. ... show more

I had a Sony remote for my A6400 but it was RF. My teleprompter would largely block the signal making me very frustrated. This Bluetooth device, is inexpensive, easy to connect, and is very responsive when you press a button. No more playing twister trying to get the recording started!
