I have 3 of them and am quite happy. There is a bit of a delay, I .e someone running will trigger the camera but not necessarily catch them on video. But I got them to see people approaching the house so the delay is actually working in my favor. The sound and picture quality are good. Really ready to set up. One of the cameras lost connection after 5 mods. When I contacted the manufacturer I was sent a replacement after the obligatory trouble shooting. So even though one camera died I am still very happy with them. I would like it to be easier to log in from 2 devices. You can only be logged in on one at the time. ... show more

    • Great Quality, User Friendly, Great Warranty
Great cameras. Set up a breeze. 30 day returns 2 year warranty, great customer service. Most "issues" can be resolved in the camera options, which are numerous. Blurry? Try cleaning the residue glue from the lens with oil based solvent Charging issues - camera leakage? Cable attached securely under rubber stopper? Update: 3/10/23. Have had these cameras three months. This is the point at which some say they have begun to have failed cameras. This is my experience so far, We will see how things do in the coming months. I have watched for leakage and "quirky behavior" and actually had a great deal of water inside cameras that were not under an eve or awning, fully exposed. I quickly shook the water out and put the camera in a bag of rice. Then the next morning, sealed the rubber stopper with gorilla glue (caulking would work, that's what I had). No problems since. The solar panels are charging well and keep my cameras at 100%, even in high traffic areas. I get adequate wireless connectivity, even in "low reception" areas. I have noticed that placement effects motion detection, etc(no poles or obstructions near). It also very useful to position the cameras out of reach of passersby. I have my router set up to only accept MAC addresses from listed devices. I have my Router name hidden. I change my router password often. I hope all of these measures are keeping hackers out of my internet connection, don't know about my phone and/or the app, but I have had no issues except an occasional resetting, once I put the router security measures in place. I like the app and the ease of use. All the information about your cameras is there, and settings to adjust. I am amazed by the picture quality (both day and night) and the ease of use. Motion detection activates the camera quickly and it's also nice to view my home in "real time" any time, from virtually anywhere. The only drawback I have seen so far is that there is no way to disarm all the cameras at once. Each one must be armed and disarmed individually. However, if in a low traffic area, and only motion activated, with a solar panel for power, I don't see this to be a problem which significantly outweighs the quality and ease of use of these cameras. With a money back guarantee and a two year warranty, I am really glad I "took the risk" and ordered these. One tip for anyone having trouble connecting their camera for the first time: Check for a glue film left by the protective plastic that covers the lens for shipping. I removed the cloudy glue on one of mine with a simple mineral oil-based face cream and a microfiber towel and the camera seems no worse for the wear.     • Wonderful cameras with room for improvement
I purchased a couple of these cameras for security purposes at my home after looking for a no-subscription option. It was way harder than I thought to find a camera that didn’t require a subscription to view previous saved videos. These do a great job at filling that gap but I have come across some problems with them that I think could be addressed in either an app update or a new model. What I like: These have great image quality, in the day as well as at night. The playback feature lets you zoom in to see details as well. The solar panels seem to work well if you have a sunny spot, but if it’s mostly shade they will not keep your camera charged. They make it easy to hardwire it with a USB C cable though. The app is easy to navigate and lets you access the previous log of recordings by day, as well as sends alerts to your phone when motion is detected. After you get an alert you’re able to view the live feed by clicking the alert and you’re able to hit an alarm button or talk through a microphone. Installation is quite easy and the cameras look nice. What needs improvement: The recording is far too delayed. Sometimes it doesn’t start the recording or send an alert until 3-5 seconds into the event. For example: someone could easily walk up on my porch and take a package, then the recording would only capture their back on their walk back to the sidewalk. This is a huge bummer, and seems like it could be an easy fix to trigger the recording as soon as motion is detected. Along that line it doesn’t have a very large area of detection, and adjusting the sensitivity doesn’t do much. Oddly enough, this camera does a wonderful job of capturing bugs and I get multiple notifications of bugs flying by. The app is also difficult to arm/disarm cameras. You have to choose which camera, and then click disarm and wait a few seconds. I wish you could just open the app and hit a “disarm all” button that worked immediately. It’s a little annoying when I go out to do yard work and have to go through the disarm/arm process. All in all I am very happy I have these cameras. I put 128gb as cards in them and they hold A LOT of footage. Live view is really nice and gives me peace of mind when I’m away from the house. If you’re looking for an affordable, no subscription camera, this is it. Just know that there is room for improvement. ... show more

    • It's finally working....I like it
This is our second camera and I had a heck of a time getting it to connect to my account. After DAYS of working on it, uninstalling and reinstalling the app it FINALLY works. The camera picture is GREAT. I do like the solar charger and will be purchasing another solar panel for the other camera.
