  • I FEEL SO COOL USING THIS!
I feel so cool using this in my 2009 Kia! I use this for Android auto and it works well! Typing in maps on the device is not slow and it's nice to have a big screen for maps! It's nice to use Spotify and other supported apps! Easy Set up! Instructions are helpful and easy to follow! I love that my car now has a reverse camera ! I have never had that before. The front camera is great too for if I were to get into an accident. Easy connection via bluetooth! I can also still connect phone to car speakers as well, as there is an option to use buletooth connected speakers. When I turn my car on it all connects together without me doing anything. I have had this since Christmas and I am LOVING IT! ... show more

  • Easy to install and working great!
I have installed it in my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. It was really a breeze, plug-n-play. I really recommend buying a T-tap wire connector for the reverse camera connection with the Reverse lights. It connects with android auto in few seconds and my car speakers works well with it as well (without an aux connection). Overall, wonderful product so far! ... show more

  • Great product, terrible lifespan
This thing deserves a 5/5 stars while it works. Screen is large, sturdy, base never came off. the problem is that it lasted exactly one year. It's now May 2026, I purchased it in February of 2025 and around early March it randomly began dropping the android auto connection and booting me to the main screen. I tried everything, factory reset, resetting my phone, clearing connections, replacing the memory card, cleared caches and everything. I tried contacting the company to no avail, this product would be a 5/5 if it didn't just give out after one year, I expected to get years out of it at minimum, not to have a temporary product. ... show more

  • Added Carplay, Car Phone, Backup Camera, and Dashcam with this to my son's 2013 Ford Fiesta!
Screen is very bright and easy to see -The IPS screen on this means that the contrast/brightness doesn't disappear when viewing off angle like it does on other carplay screen models that don't use IPS. I love the shape of the screen. You can see a lot on it, but because it is more wide than tall, and yet it doesn't get into the drivers field of view (best of both worlds). The buttons and screen are very responsive, there might be a very slight lag , but honestly it is barely noticeable. The box and packing are very good. Very reminiscent of Apple packaging. I think people getting this as a gift would feel like it cost $300 or more just from the box and packaging. If you are wondering, the backup camera has a long wire included with the camera. The included mounting options are very nice and provide you with some nice choices for mounting. There is a tool for using on your car for popping interior pieces open to run your wires. Nice power supply with usb input on back of it so you don't lose the ability to charge something else through usb from your aux power. Nice long Aux Audio cord. Also, someone else on here mentioned a struggle with not being able to turn off the Audio on the unit itself - but after much of my own hunting around in the menu system, I figured out how to do this. You go to the audio settings app and just select the output you want. You can select the screen itself, BT, FM, or AUX. The default is the screen itself and it will still play through the aux audio cable (if you have it plugged in) even while playing through the screen, but once you select the AUX option, the speaker on the screen turns off. Then you just exit out of that menu and your audio will only be playing through the AUX option (not both anymore). This would have been a deal killer for me if I hadn't figured that out, because the speakers on the screen are obviously small and although they sound fine and are loud enough in a pinch (like if you didn't have any speakers in your car to play through) the sound doesn't mix well with your car speakers. The video cameras are excellent quality. Definitely better than the stock backup camera in our cars that we have. Oh and FYI: When you are in car play mode and in the maps, if your screen is maximized and you are trying to navigate on the map by moving the four directions, there are four arrows on the left, right, top, and bottom of the screen. The right arrow gets covered by the system's on screen function button, but again after playing with that, I was able to lightly hold down and quickly swipe and move that function button around on the screen and out of the way from the right arrow button so I could then engage the right arrow button. I am very impressed with the quality of this unit. I would honestly put the value of this product in the $200 - $300 range given its quality, functionality, included items, boxing, and overall value it offers for those of us needing a way to add Carplay, a Car Phone, Backup Camera, Dashcam, and other things to our older vehicles. ... show more

  • Looks great and works well!
This was purchased as a gift but set up and tested before wrapping. I was not able to test audio output to car speakers or the stability of the mounts since I only tested inside the house. The screen is responsive and smooth, with the pages opening quickly like you would expect from a modern touch screen device. Set up is very simple, and once connected the interface looks great and works like an integrated car infotainment system. The built-in dashcam is an awesome inclusion, that may not be up to par with a standalone unit but is high resolution and in my brief testing, seems completely usable. Overall, this appears to be a quality product that looks great and works well. ... show more

  • **Fix for Android Auto connection issues in my comment**
This has worked (almost) flawlessly for the past 6 months. Conne to my phone automatically within about 10 seconds of starting my car. My car has accessory outlets (lighter sockets) that are always powered on. Even when the car is off. So that I didn't need to remember to unplug the car screen every time I got out of the car, I used a fuse tap kit to connect the power to my radio fuse. This way it turns on and off when my radio does. My radio stays on until I open my door. I also connected the backup camera to my reverse light wire (supplied cable) and the backup camera automatically comes up on the screen when I put my car in reverse. If you don't make that connection you have to manually turn it on when you want to view it. I use the aux input for my radio and stream everything. It sounds excellent. Better than the FM radio by far. The one issue I came across with this unit was something that started at the end of March 2026. The connection with my phone started randomly dropping every few minutes. It was really annoying. Nearly all of the 1 star reviews on here mention this issue. The fix isn't readily available, but I did find it. Fix for dropped Bluetooth connection: Due to an Android Auto update (V16), the unit was having connection issues. The carplay screen needed a firmware update, but there was not information in the manual showing how to do this. What you need to do is: 1. Download the Evalink app. (This is the app used for connecting via wifi to the screen) 2. Disconnect from Android Auto Bluetooth 3. Open the Superlink app on the carplay home screen and connect with your phone 4. Once it is connected you should get a pop-up message saying the issue with Android Auto 16 has been fixed (or something like that) After that, it is back to working flawlessly. For $110, this has to be the best way possible to upgrade my old car. ... show more

  • Great all in one choice with a mid mounting plate.
Good system. It connects with my iphone every time. Access to carplay, waze, etc. dashcam feature is great and rear camera as well. Lots of goodness for the price. the bad: slow boot up and defaults to carplay. I like to see the camera and it takes a couple menu steps to get to it which is annoying. The dash mounting is the weak point. It shakes and is not stable. It's a cheap mount that kind of lets down the whole thing. But if you can find a better, more solid mounting option the unit itself has been great. ... show more

  • Plug and Play and get Android Auto - advise using a CD-tray adapter if your car has one!
First - let me tell you, I've literally bought five or six different versions of the Android Auto for cars. Two of them with screens. (In my defense, I have three cars that need it, with different levels of tech in each.) I wanted a decent size screen (this one is over 10") and I wanted one that was fast, and sleek. Second - this one works perfectly for what I need. I wanted something thinner, so that it wouldn't obstruct viewing. I have a 2015 Kia Sedona and thought for a bit about buying one to replace the entire radio and whatnot, but after looking into them, I decided against it. I already have a rear-view video, it's just the screen is only 4.5" and can't accept any USB connection (not that you'd see much on it.) Do note: it's going to have two wires coming out of it: speaker wire to go into your car's auxiliary port and a 12V car lighter adapter for power. It's a bit unsightly, but you can get different things to keep the wires under control. The unit itself does have its own speakers, if you need them, and can adjust the volume accordingly (or to off if you're using the car speakers). Third: I didn't want to cover up my existing screen, for the aforementioned backing up camera, yet, what would work? Add to this, I DID NOT WANT a suction cup on my dash (been there, done that with a GPS a decade ago) nor did I want to nail it down or use a cup holder. So, what worked? This thing did - WITH a CD-tray holder. I love it. (Just search Amazon for the Epronic 17MM ball with the attached 4 post clip: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DY7R4D6F - you'll see a picture of this type of screen on the page.) Important note here: I wanted an something strong enough to hold the screen (it does, easily) and I wanted the tightener (the screw that expands one of the flaps in the CD tray to secure it) ON THE TOP and not on the bottom as many of them have. I can see why one on the bottom would be nice - easier to reach! The problem is, it would obstruct the in-dash (originally installed) screen underneath it, where with the tightener on the top, while harder to reach, it's completely hidden by the Android Auto screen itself. Ultimately, I used the two wires, and tested it out, after definitely liking the placement, and it works great. It auto-reconnects after the first time, and I've tested it - with Bluetooth it took right at 27 seconds from car start to hearing music playing on Android Auto. Others have talked about trying to get the Wifi on it working with your phone, and oddly enough, it didn't work the first time I did it either. I had the devil of a time getting it to forget my bluetooth connection to find my hot spot. Why would I want it? I wanted to test the mirror link connectivity (so that anything on my phone would be mirrored on the screen - like VLC - an excellent video player, if you say, happen to put a few movies on your phone to watch.) It has an SDCard reader on the device, which may also work for that purpose, but not I haven't gotten to try it out yet. Ultimately, that's somewhat secondary, since it's not particularly safe. I CAN tell you that Netflix blacks out and you can only hear it while using it with mirrorlink. The second time I turned it all off and on, it found my hotspot, and the mirror link worked great. I would prefer to have the ability to change the name of the device (it's an ugly name) and I wish I had Android on the backend (there's another device on the market that works that way, but unfortunately, the screen was too large for my tastes, so I am just sticking with the 10"x4" screen instead of a 9"x6"). If you're wondering how to get the screen mirroring to work, you need to download an app called Evelink (the instructions are on the device when you choose that option) - and you'll need to browse your WIFI on your phone (not your hotspot) to see the (ugly name) of the Wifi that the device uses. As I mentioned, it may take some fiddling to get that to come up. Also, it says you cannot use Bluetooth and Wifi at the same time...but, odd thing was, my phone was connected to my mini-van (per original setup for the past ten years) AND to the new Android Auto, AND the Android Auto thing connected to my WIFI on the phone as well. It also operated pretty fast with both connected, so don't really see the harm in it. Also allows that screen mirroring to go back and forth between modes (Android Auto or Screen mirroring) very quickly. Last thing - I did buy a windshield sun protector, (those things people pop into their behind their windshield to keep the heat out of their car in parking lots) which I should have done a long time ago (my car, after owning it for ten years, bought brand new) is really starting to see some sun damage. I don't want the electronics of this thing to get fried, so spent the $15 bucks to put something in there so I wouldn't have to move it around, and it would also protect my dashboard and steering wheel and the like for a few more years. There are cheaper models out there, but I wanted one that got a lot of reviews, had been around for a while and fit (literally) what I needed - and this covered all that. Very pleased with the purchase, obviously! One last note - typical Android Auto (modern cars, with the Android Auto as a feature of the car) has complete car integration - volume, change songs, make selections, etc. This one does not. You can't change songs from the steering wheel, for instance, b/c the volume control is being managed by a speaker wire, not bluetooth. So, you can adjust volume, if you have steering volume (as it will be on your "Aux Connection") but you'll need to use the touchscreen for changing songs, fast forward, pause, etc. ... show more
