Maybe it's because I'm not a content creator so I'm not used to working with external recording devices, but these mini microphones were not quite plug-and-play for me. Thankfully I eventually figured them out. I have a Samsung S24+. When I plugged in the receiver, powered on the mics, opened my Camera app, and started recording a video, the mics didn't work at all. The video was still recording sound from my phone's built-in microphone. I then opened my Voice Recorder app and started recording, and same thing -- mics didn't work, and sound was being recorded from the built-in phone microphone. It took some investigation and troubleshooting, but I realized I needed to change some settings in my Camera and Voice Recorder apps to make these microphones work. In the Camera app, I needed to change to using the "Pro Video" mode for video recording. In the Voice Recorder settings, I needed to toggle on an option to "Use Bluetooth mic when available". Then the recorded videos and sound recordings started to use these microphones for audio input without issue. So if anyone else out there is as clueless about external mics as I am, and you come across this same issue, hopefully this will help you. Kind of a weird thing, but I could only get the microphones to accept charging from a USB-C cable when they were turned on. If they were turned off, then they didn't seem to charge. I really like being able to see the actual percentage number to indicate the amount of charge left, rather than having to guesstimate different colored lights. I also initially didn't realize the receiver doesn't need to be charged. It will draw the necessary power when plugged into your phone. The USB-C port on the receiver is just a passthrough port, so that you can still charge your phone while the receiver is plugged in. Basically you plug the receiver into your phone's USB-C port first, and then you plug your charging cable into the receiver's USB-C port. If your app settings are done right, then these mics truly are plug-and-play. They automatically paired with the receiver once turned on, and I was able to leave my phone in one room and keep recording audio while walking all around my house. I would consider the recording sound quality to be decently good. The quality probably wouldn't be good enough if you're doing professional podcasts and such, but at their very low price point, that's to be expected. The reason I got these microphones was to be able to better record soft-spoken users verbalizing feedback during product test sessions, especially when there is ambient noise. These will work very well for that purpose. The noise reduction feature seems to work quite well and will definitely help even more. Once I got them working, given the great value and functionalities, I am very happy with this product.

I use this with my iPhone and couldn’t believe how easy it was to set up. Truly plug and play, no pairing, no Wi-Fi, no app setup. I just turned them on and boom, they worked. The sound quality is excellent. I’ve only used it indoors so far, but even with background noise, it picked up my voice clearly and canceled out everything else. I was really impressed. Battery life? Honestly, it lasts way longer than I expected. I can’t say exactly how many hours, but it just keeps going. The little battery display is a nice touch too. The magnetic clip is surprisingly strong, in a fun way. The first time I used it, it grabbed on so fast it made me laugh. It holds really securely and is easy to position wherever you want it. I’ve used it for TikTok and Instagram videos and had zero issues. No lag, no connection problems. It just works. I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone who makes videos, whether casually or for content creation. I used to think these little mics were super expensive, but this one is such a great value for the quality. Total home run, five out of five stars.
