This mic was way better than expected for the money . I play in a 90's rock band . The handheld wireless mic sounds great . Not a cheap feeling mic . It's got some weight and the feel of it is good . The sound was as good as mics nearly 10 X the money as this . Our lead singer couldn't believe what he was hearing for $149.00 . I used the lapel mic for a wedding and it was cracking a lot more than I was hoping but the handheld redeems it's $149 value . The range is very very good too .

Let me start by saying I rarely if EVER give a 5 star review, especially when it comes to very inexpensive, Chinese products. This system is certainly the exception Very well built (metal receiver, metal transmitter), easy to set up, and the sound quality was very unexpected even though I'd read countless reviews that stated the same opinions. I really didn't expect much of the headset mic and had intended on picking up the 100 dollar Shure headset, but after hearing it, there is no need. Longevity and durability remains to be seen, I've only been using them for about two months, but so far they are great and have exceeded my expectations by far.

I Bought the first unit with two handled mics back in 2018. That was a 600mhz unit, probably one of the last sold in the US. The unit still works today in my Blackmagic Atem A/V rack. Fast forward to today and I own four other units that are in a rack case. Phenyx pro offers spare parts and other accessories, something that is important when support is needed. If you are buying these to use with the handheld mics, just buy them. That leads me to my major issue with this product. After buying the 600mhz unit (this was stated no where on the product at the time), I bought body packs and lapels, then another unit only to discover that it was 500mhz. As this was a Governmental thing, I took the hit. I then bought another unit to compliment the 500mhz unit. Recently I bought another only to discover that it was different and incompatible with the older units, again I pushed through. The price to performance that you get from these units are incredible. Now to my biggest issue. I really wanted to love this units fully, but I can’t. The body packs with lapel mics are just terrible, period. I currently own three for the 600mhz units, four for the older 500mhz and I tried one of the newest units in hopes of improvement. There is a constant hiss/scratching sound as if I have it in a pocket filled with cell phones. I tried adjusting levels, channels, different mics there is no fix for this. The issue is unfortunately very consistent across all the units I own. The same channel with the handheld mic is quiet so it’s definitely the body packs. Do not purchase these for the lapel mics if sound is important to you. Panel discussions or any event that requires video need quiet lapel mics and these don’t deliver. However, if you run a gym or are in an already noisy environment then you probably won’t care or notice. I give it four stars. Fix the lapel quality issue Phenyx Pro. I now must find another brand just to have quality lapel units. Be warned!

The volume output of this wireless system is great. Also, the sound is great with no breathing sound noticed. We used it for our karaoke system and the singing was very clear. I purchased cheaper models and found the volume output weak with lots of statice and breathing noticed. I returned them. It came with a box that can be used as a carrying case. But I wish the box was smaller.
