This product worked as expected, audio clarity however needed a little bit of enhancement to clean out background noise & make voice sound much clearer. I usually connect my default audio through obs & already have filters setup: suppression, noise gate, gain & whatnot for my other wired mics so I didn't really have to deal with the issue of this mic picking up background noise in my recordings. But if used standalone without any form of software enhancement, this mic falls short. The pros on this product are as follows: -Mic noise gain can be adjusted with the volume + & - buttons on the side of the device. This is a neat feature & a major plus & I love the fact that the buttons can be held down increase volume to max or decrease to zero & could also be multi tapped. -setup was VERY easy & straightforward, the transmitter & the receiver paired in a matter of secs. -nicely detailed, noob friendly manual & quick start guide! Plus the pouch is very portable. -The fact that this product being wireless, really seals the deal. - it comes with a 6.35mm jack adapter, 3.5mm male to 2female splitter cable & a USB sound card with mic & headset inputs. I didn't get to test the range because clearly, what I needed this mic for is all indoors & merely couple of feet radius of all my setup devices and it does perform well. Also, I am yet to test with phone but I'm pretty sure it will also perform. Not so bad for a wireless mic with that price point. Very impressive. **Major CON here for me is: the mic itself is not omnidirectional! I just wish it really is and this would have all been 5-stars. Hopefully in their future versions, they will have one with omni.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GALAXY S9 USERS: - OPEN your KIMAFUN case - LOCATE and INSTALL the Y-shaped SPLITTER that comes with the kit (note: there are MULTIPLE styles) - CONNECT the KIMAFUN wireless RECEIVER to the MICROPHONE side of the Y-Splitter <--- THIS IS CRITICAL ! - CONNECT the KIMAFUN wireless TRANSMITTER to your belt, and the mic clip to your shirt collar - TURN ON both the TRANSMITTER & RECEIVER; the order in which you turn them on DOESN'T MATTER - WAIT for the TRANSMITTER to "find" the RECEIVER - you'll see the blue LED on each go SOLID - OPEN your CAMERA APP - RECORD your video NOW COMES ANOTHER IMPORTANT PART: PLAYBACK CRITICAL: IF you leave the Y-splitter connected during playback you WON'T BE ABLE TO HEAR ANY SOUND !!! INSTEAD you MUST DISCONNECT the Y-splitter BEFORE PLAYBACK !!! Do these TWO things... 1. INSERT the Y-splitter into the S9 and CONNECT your RECEIVER to the MICROPHONE side; AND 2. Been using this over a year now and for the price and ease-of-use, I love it. It just works. Plug into your camera, turn both decives on, and boom remote mic recording. I've never had any trouble with the devices connecting to each other, or causing interference with other devices. I use it often on my travel YouTube channel at distances up to about a 100 ft with unbroken line-of-sight; beyond that I've gotten imperfect results, but that's about as far as I could need anyway. The photo is a still frame from a video taken ~80 feet away. USB re-chargeable makes it even better, in my opinion, and the only time I've drained it fully is when I accidentally left them turned on. Some people might prefer batteries to be able to keep recording on the fly, but I never need to record that long. I do wish it charged by USB-C, as now it is the about the only thing in my kit that still uses a USB micro connection. But can't really fault it for using something that was so standard for so long. Overall would recommend for anyone looking for a cheaper, very portable radio lapel/lavalier microphone solution. Essential part of my kit. I bought one of these after reading through the reviews, and after trying it out I bought a second pair. These really worked great for what I needed them for. I have presentations and seminars where I am moving around the room a lot and also doing exercise type movements. The sound never cut off and I didn't hear and noise or interference, and the headset asked the belt clip stayed right where they were supposed to. Sometimes the price makes you wonder, but these were worth what I paid and more. My set up was hooked up to a full commercial sound system and it sounded great, but I also tried recording to my phone and the quality was just as good. Definitely great value and great quality.

The sound quality is great. I was quite surprised. The device is plug and play and I had no issues just plugging in the USB receiver and have it work out of the box on Arch Linux. I haven't extensively tested the range, but I wander while presenting and this mic kept up with me. If I had one complaint it would be that the audio is quiet, even at a full mic boost. The quality is good enough that in post processing I can bump up the volume as needed. Overall I am very glad that I found this wireless mic, super useful for making recordings of presentations

I purchased this in March of 2021 to use for recording sermons. I'm a seminary student going to school to become an Army Chaplain, and as part of my application for endorsement, I'm required to submit sermons. This product worked great, but it's been about a year, and for the past several Sundays, I'll set it to record, but when I go to playback the video, there's no audio. It was easy to use and provided adequate sound quality, but only lasted a year. Not sure if this experience is typical.
