I originally got these in June of 2022 just to try out. The sound quality was great. I probably have only used this product a handful of times and now I have this static and popping that now I can not get rid of. The audio is now completely unusable. I've tried resetting, unpairing and repairing and still sounds like a tv station with a bad signal. I thought it might have been wifi or some other type of radio frequency causing the issues but I have another wireless lav and I don't have those problems. I really wanted to love these especially for the price but I guess you get what you pay for. UPDATE: MAONO reached out to me once I submitted the original review and they allowed me to show them the issues that I was having and to perform some troubleshooting steps to see if it resolved the issue. I ended up submitting a video to them so that they could hear themselves what I was dealing with. Once they reviewed the video they instantly issued a replacement for me. That right there is great customer service!!! I was so shocked and relieved that Maono helped me and I definitely appreciated it. Thank you again Maono, you are a stand up company that makes sure your customers are satisfied!

This is a good Mic especially if it’s your first time dealing with these sort of mics. For the price , how easy it is use , plus great sound quality at $60. If your an upcoming content creator whatever you do I definitely recommend you buying this THE ONLY reason why I rated the sound quality 4 stars instead of 5 (like every other category) is because the sound quality sounds slightly compressed and not as smooth however Its still a very high quality sound . I don’t regret buying this at all

The media could not be loaded. This thing surprised me! The audio is clear and no interference, quick to connect and overall easy to use. Great value for what you get!

The media could not be loaded. What I Liked: - Decent range (about 100 feet line of site, half that if body is blocking) - Cuts out on background noise such as cars and wind - Easy to use and sync What could be improved: - Audio is bit tinny and could have more warmth/richness (this can be adjust a bit in post) - Subtle background hiss present in all clips An easy to use wireless system that uses bluetooth type connection to transmit audio. It's nice that it comes with a pair, transmitter and receiver, where some other systems only come with one and you need to buy the other. Set up is straightforward and the instructions are understandable. Audio quality overall is an improvement over on camera mic especially in windy situations or near traffic noise. If it is quiet and I am close to the camera, I find the on camera mic is substantially richer and has more depth. But this kind of system is less for pro quality I think and more to help capture sound that is impossible to get otherwise. For example, if I am standing next to a highway and talking, I cannot capture audio with my on camera mic, it is too loud surrounding me. But with this kind of system I can actually hear myself. Tinkering with in camera settings does net better results than default so if you're the kind of person who can mess around a bit this is more the system for you. I still gave it a good rating because of how easy it is to use and the stability in audio transmission, but don't expect professional level quality like the Ro de mic. The sound quality is okay, I didn’t expect broadcast quality but it’s better than using your mic on the phone if you are farther away. You might want to play with position. I was going to return this because it said iPhone ready but it doesn’t have the right connector. It requires the 3.5mm adapter to iPhone connector. So it’s got more stuff dangling than I’d like but I’ll give it a full test. Another note is you won’t hear your phone sound until you unplug it from the phone.

Before I purchased the MAONO 2.4GHz Dual Lapel Mics I was a mere anonymous individual in a world dominated by inconsistent demographic stratification, toxic athleticism, celebration of youthful mediocrity, and self-aggrandizing consumerism masquerading as lower tier needs on Maslow’s hierarchy. Held back by a devastating lack of vocal clarity combined with audible ambient reverb from the physical rebound of disparate compounds competing for supremacy outside the physical structures, as well as the heights of the limits placed upon my own containment by the Venn diagram intersection of economic and government regulation, I longed for a release from the tether of mutually exclusive requirements established by physics and the ultimate desire to be not only accepted, but revered for intoxicating narratives laced with visual stimulation and memorable moments of crushing non-sequiturs. Upon purchase, implementation and integration of Maono’s proprietary technological design, walls fell, oceans parted, invitations were extended, paradigms shifted, particles charged and collided, inspiration invigorated, and other humas took notice of genius transferred through self-produced data media, resulting in economic transfer. Yet, despite unmatched value return on investment in relation to signal strength, dynamic equalization clarity, usage intervals extended by integrated energy storage and comfort offered by product engineering, it turns out my wife and daughters still maintain I'm a knucklehead.
