Connected right away to my iPad (disable Only Draw with Apple Pencil under Settings, Apple Pencil) and works with the Scribble function. Connects securely to the magnetic strip and charges on the edge of the iPad without a separate connection. A charging port is available on the pencil if you want to charge separate from the iPad. Pencil cycles off when away from the ipad, and a quick press on the top reconnects. So far no complaints, works great!

This is my first pencil and it’s awesome! It charges seamlessly in my case and is easy to use. I have wanted an Apple pencil for a long time, but hesitated to put out the money. Finding this one for much less is great. I haven’t had any problems with charging or connection. So glad I found this.

I have been looking for a non-Apple branded pencil but can be recharged by iPad just like the original Apple pencil, and I come across this one. It still has an USB port should we want to charge it using the USB-C cable. This pencil has a rubber cover on the USB-C port, so when attaching to the iPad Air the rubber cover is leaning to the iPad. Not a big deal, or you can just remove the cover but it will be leave a hole that which is unsightly. I wish the USB-C port is not there and the design would be a lot cleaner since it can be recharged by the iPad anyway. Removing the pencil from the iPad instantly turn the pencil on, so this experience is very nice. I found writing is pretty similar to the original pencil. One struggle is the palm detection, sometimes, it might not work, and I have to manually turn off/on the pencil by pressing the top button to reset. Overall the experience is good and I recommend this.

Price at time of order: $16.99 All I can say is WOW!!!! This looks and works just like my pricey Pencil! I got this to use on my Mini because even though I can switch my Pencil back and forth between my Air and Mini, it's much easier to have one for each device - but I wasn't willing to pay that much for the name brand. I have tried other pencil style styluses, but this is the first one that charges on the device just like the name brand. There is a port to charge with a cable, and I don't like that the cover for that port is in no way attached to the stylus, so if you lose it you will have an open hole on the side. Also, WHY are the instructions that come with tech items in such tiny print?! It's so hard to read them! The setup was simple once I was able to get a magnifier to actually be able to read the instructions. Bottom line, though, is this is a great product and I would absolutely recommend it!

I bought this iPad pencil and it's great. Before you order, check your iPad model by going to Settings > General > About or looking at the back of your iPad. The pencil connects easily once you turn off other Apple devices like earbuds, which can block the connection. It charges when you stick it to the side of the iPad, which is really handy. You can also use a cable to charge it fast. The pencil changes line thickness when you tilt it and lets you rest your hand on the screen without problems. It's smooth and precise, with no lag or skipping. It comes with three extra tips. You can double-tap to open a memo or take a screenshot. If you have any issues, customer service is very helpful.

I have used several pens with my iPad. I really haven't noticed a difference between any of them, as far as with the way they handle. The price is on the lower end of those I have purchased. Nothing outstanding to say about this pen. It does what it needs to do.
