About as good as you can get for a budget head unit. It’s a little higher than a double din, so I had to cut my center bezel to fit (2005 Subaru Forester). Despite the lack of directions, a wire diagram, and FAQs that were definitely written by someone who doesn’t know what spell check is, it was easy to install. Especially if you’ve toyed around with these units. It follows the same diagram as my old one, so figured I’d attach a pic of it to help. It also comes packed with themes so if you don’t like the UI of one, you don’t have to dink around with downloading APKs. It’s connects fast; the CarPlay functionality is seamless and pairs immediately when the car is on. I did notice better sound, but I also installed some Kenwood 1666S speakers at the same time so I can’t say if it did anything for the OE speakers. This thing feels ALOT nicer quality than the budget ones that lack a solid touchscreen. Honestly it’s worth the $50. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Install went as follows. Wired the radio into the appropriate wiring harness for my frontier. The wires that plug into the radio are way thin. I could not use wire connectors and get it to work. I had to break out the soldering iron and heat shrink. So, if its hooked up any other way than that I would expect issues. The second problem i ran into was the radio mounting brackets would not work with the dash kit. So, I tapped 2 holes in the radio to be able to secure it to the dash kit. The third issue i had was the trim that goes round the radio. The radio is slightly bigger than normal double din radio. Maybe 3/16 bigger. So I had to modify the plastic trim that goes between the radio and the dash kit or around the head unit. I used orbital sander took a little off the trim and was able to get it looking nice. The next issue I had was zlink5 app. This app is used for screen mirror. For what its worth that app makes the radio go unresponsive. The screen glitches and freezes, as well as makes my phone act up. The fix was turn truck off . Turn Bluetooth off on my phone. Turn the radio back on navigate to the zlink5 app and turned off auto connect. That seemed to fix that issue. With that app off. The screen is fast and responsive and my phone works like it should. Sound quality seems ok. The Bluetooth music works well. Overall im happy with it as long as it dont get glitchy again. I may uninstall the zlink5 app or disable it. Bc its an issue with my phone and radio. Thst is my experience within the first day. I will update if it gets glitch or messes up. If it keeps functioning as it is right now I will be extremely happy...... Update the issue with the screen freezing using the zlink5 app. The radio didnt come with good instructions. So I looked into it and the issue was bc I had to download thst app to my phone as well. Once I downloaded the app to my phone the blue tooth hand shake performed like it was supposed to and my radio has not glitched since. 0 stars if I could. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Bluetooth connectivity never worked. Functioned kind of with extreme lag. Did not fit well so I had to modify the dash to fit it and it still didn't fit well. The screen looked absolutely horrible when it was working. It died after a month installed. Not a trustworthy brand or manufacturer. Pros: None. Cons: Dies in a month Never worked. Touchscreen always lagged. Backup camera is junk. Microphone quality is horrible. It sounded worse than the OEM kit. ... show more

Can't say I have any negatives to share other than this being my 2nd one in 6 months. Have them in my car and pickup.. butttt... the one I just purchased last week was used... bought as new and appearance was new but during installation I realized there was already someone else's information loaded into the software taking up some of the memory. Not a big deal but weird seeing "Chad's iPhone " pop up several times. Or maybe I have Chad's phone that cannot run out of battery somewhere in my truck or following closely behind every day and he's been able to x take control of things before the 1st time I left my yard lol ... show more

Everything is as advertised. It's a great product for my Ford Focus. I did have to buy a compatible harness. It was easy to find online locally, and cheap. I also bought a dash kit which was also cheap. Even with the additional purchases, this is a great system. The sound is high quality, the display is perfectly clear, and easy to navigate, and the touch screen is just as fast as my smart phone, which connects automatically to my phone as soon as I start the car.
