I received this radio a couple of days ago and the weather has been too rainy to install it in my 2008 Nissan Frontier. So, I have it wired up to a 12-volt power supply and hooked up to a couple of small speakers and a short piece of antenna wire to test it out. I have everything sitting on my work bench and it works great, even with the short piece of antenna wire, it picks up stations 70 miles away. Not able to check out the back-up camera, however, I may if the rainy weather does not let up. I will just hook up the wires to make it think I have my truck in reverse. I have done that with other radios in the past and the test works, so it should work as well on this radio. One of the main things I like about this unit is the Volume Control on the front, being a real knob and not a tiny pushbutton like in so many others. So, for me, it was a great purchase.

I ordered this to replace a competing brand I had that had buttons for volume control rather than a knob, i ordered this one specifically because it has a knob. In finding the perfect radio for my van I tested about six different brands and this is the only one that the internal microphone works properly. All of the features work great except the backup camera flickers and has lines in it and you can hear a high pitch wine in the audio and the frequency of that wine changes based on how fast the alternator is running. This is the first radio out of all of the ones I've tested to have this whining issue leading me to believe that it must be a design flaw or something that was left out of this radio. Still overall it is an excellent radio for the price and I plan to install a filter to see if that solves the problem.

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry. The factory radio was on its last leg. I ordered this as a replacement and an attempt at modernizing a car that is 24 years old. Needless to say works like a charm. Took a little pizzazz but it fit fine and does everything I need. Recommend for sure.

I received this properly packed in a box with a nice set of accessories. The only thing that sticks out to me negatively from a visual inspection is that the trim ring is warped. However, that can be massaged into place. The big problem I had was that the thing never powered up. I've been installing stereos (professionally) for over 30 years at this point. So, I know that I didn't make any mistakes (ground to black, 12v power to yellow and red). However, I was never even able to get the unit to power up. So, I really can't say much more about this unit.

kind of a sluggishly responding touch screen. makes it feel like it’s old & outdated. can’t get a clear idea of exactly just what specific OS these run on. it hints at android but doesn’t have the android interface this is certainly an aftermarket asian product rooted with their own software. offers little to no functionality or options. i’d suggest an android head unit that is verified to be legitimate android

Overall, this is your standard double in CarPlay android stereo. It has basically all the same features as any other one that you will get on the market today. The thing that separates this one is quite frankly, the little round knob on the left side. When you were driving your vehicle, if you do not have steering wheel controls , it is very hard to press the little buttons to increase and decrease the volume. Well, this one does come with the remote control and it is also weird to grab a remote control while you were driving. This one has a very easy to find knob to increase and decrease the volume as you were driving. I know it sounds simple, but it is surprisingly effective versus the buttons in order to increase in decrease sound. The one thing that you have to watch out for is the size of the unit as the little knob is not flush with the side there needs to be a little bit of space so it can turn. Also, one of the thing that I really liked was that this is not a deep double din it is actually very shallow double din stereo so if you have a car without a lot of space behind the stereo compartment, this is the one for you. I highly recommend.

If you're like me and you are driving an older vehicle that doesn't have factory Apple Carplay or Android Auto you're really missing out. This upgraded stereo fit pretty nicely in my car and allowed me to move from 20th century technology to modern tech in just a few hours. Now the catch is this - the processor isn't that speedy so there is some lag present with both the touchscreen controls and sometimes the music playback but then you have to expect this when you aren't dropping $1000 for an Alpine or Kenwood head unit. Honestly, for the price it's a huge upgrade and well worth it even with a few shortcomings.
