Update 07/14/22: We got a second camera from this company that we have installed inside of our Rockwood Roo Hybrid Camper. We plugged it into the the fan/light port on the inside ceiling above the tent end bunk at the front of the camper. The screen that came with this unit is able to connect to both cameras, and we are able to now see both cameras while driving down the road. Having the additional camera inside allows us to monitor all the stuff inside and when it unexpectedly shifted we were able to pull over and re-situate all the items inside. With the split screen mode we can't really see the vehicles driving next to us as we go down the road, but the view directly behind us is really good. We are very happy with our purchase. We bought this product because my mother had purchased it for her camper and I was impressed with it. It was easy to install, connect, and set up on my Rockwood Roo. The adapters that we needed to connect to the pre-wire camera port on the back of the camper were all there and fit perfectly. The display is a nice size. I was surprised at how well the suction cup mount held it to the windshield. I didn’t want holes in my dash for the optional mounting bracket. The display easily connected to the camera even though it was in the front of my vehicle and the camera was on the back of the camper. I also like the existing system is expandable and additional cameras can be added to it. It is an excellent price for a quality product. The only challenge I ran into was that one of the little plastic washers that go on the camera to tighten it to the bracket split; however the kit had extras to use. One thing to note that I had to figure out on my trailer is that the camera will only turn on and have power when the trailer marker lights are on. This has nothing to do with the camera system, but is the way Rockwood wired my particular trailer. If you find that your camera isn’t getting power, try hooking it up to the tow vehicle and turning on your marker lights. ... show more

Firstly, the item arrived on time and in a solid package which protected it during shipping. Installation was easy on the rear of my RV travel trailer. the supplied Furrion bracket and electrical pig tail was a great addition and made the installation very easy - plug and play. I was concerned about the wireless transmission signal back to the tow vehicle, but does not seem to be an issue. Good signal response, little image distortion and great picture quality. Have not tried the night vision, but I am sure it will work fine. I am pleased with this purchase and the quality of the product. ... show more

This camera is a great addition for our new travel trailer. Installation was straight forward. The wireless connection worked great - once I put the antennae on :-) - and the image quality is excellent. Don't forget to look in the owners manual as they offer free accessories. We got the suction cup attachment. It takes an SD card if you want to record the video, but haven't tried that yet. Overall a great camera. Highly recommended! ... show more

I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 because there is a rubber grommet that is supposed to be put in the bracket had to modify to somewhat make it work. The best part is how good the video is and connected wireless right away. I would recommend this camera for affordability and ease of install despite the above mentioned. Hopefully this last a very long time will see about durability have only used 2 times. ... show more

(before you pass on my review bc it looks too long to read, please take a minute - I just don’t wanna miss anything important) Soooo.. let me start here - I’m totally amazed by this camera!! Was looking for a perfect system for my trailer for a while reading reviews and checking the videos until I decided I will give AMTIFO A7 a try. - First of all you can test it without the installation - how cool is that!! (just use the connector, connect the wires to it, then plug in the camera and display, plug in the power to your cigarette socket in your car / truck and voila!!) - Second, 7inch display is like a must (at least for me) and it shows the footage in a really high quality! It takes some space in your cabin, but you can install it anywhere as the cable is long enough and… seriously.. would you bother that much about it :) - Third - settings!! they are so easy that even a baby wouldn’t have any issues here!! Simple navigation, click and done! (or maybe click + click and done :) ) - Next - the guide lines - so helpful and the most important… adjustable!! Up and down!! - Then… night mode! Camera works even with just minimum light around!! (was able to park my trailer within 10min in the dark into my backyard going through the narrow gate!! woooow!! no need to bother my neighbors anymore :D ) - And - it can handle up to 2 cameras so you can add a license plate one or same which comes with the system to for example install it on your truck / car or in front of your trailer (thong / tail) for easy connection or even inside your trailer to make sure your horses or your belongings are ok (didn't try it yet, but there is an option with divided screens for Channel 1 and 2 and when I use it I will update this review for sure). Overall - easy breezy!! But.. there is always a “but” right? So.. this review wouldn’t be complete if didn’t mention about the Amtifo Customer Service!! Hats off for these Guys!! Specifically for Evan who took his time and efforts to help me when it appeared that the system has a trouble to connect / pair with the camera at some point! He asked me for the details and as soon as he found out that the distance from the display to the camera is about 45feet, he sent me the extension antena and guided how it should be installed! Unfortunately, camera had some trouble and stopped working, but Amtifo didn’t give up on me and after checking every single possibilities to fix it (we were exchanging the emails almost every day and I never had to wait longer than 24h for their response!), so they decided to send me another system! This one… came used as I could see right away after opening the box and wasn’t working at all, but it was sent directly from Amazon’s warehouse, so Amtifo wasn’t even aware of that until I contacted them again!! They politely asked me if I would like to receive a refund or.. another system to try - I felt in love in this camera at first, so I wanted to give it another chance. This time all worked perfect!! And it’s still working!! :) No issues with connecting, pairing, installing - I don’t even know if I still need an extension antena, but Amtifo let me keep it! I’m extremely happy with their help!! One more thing - do not be “Karen”, do not be a jerk who complains bc the camera came in broken box or it’s used and broken, or you don’t know how to connect it / install it - just be patient and read the Q&A section or / and contact the seller directly!! They really want to help you, but you just need to give them a chance!! In worst case scenario, you can just return the camera and forget about everything, but I highly recommend to work on it with Amtifo Customer Service!! The system is worth it and they are ppl like you and me, so do not hesitate to send them a message and ask for their guidance and support!! Definitely one happy customer here!!!
