Really good connectors. Previous generation (3+ years ago from same company) were always slipping after crimp. They fixed the design and they are wonderful. Heat shrink is great, crimp is great, I highly recommend these female spade connectors!

So no one makes a properly constructed male and female spade connector set. What this does the best is what I consider most important. That being that it is made of a metal that is thick and quality enough to provide a strong and reliable crimp connection to the wire. All of the others on Amazon at the time of my purchase were super cheap and thin metal that I feared would not stay on. Where this begins to fail is in the shrink tubing. The tubing is too big for it to securely seal around the smaller gauge wire used on the red and blue connectors. The size of shrink tubing is actually identical on all sizes of the connectors. The next problem is that there is no taper to guide your wire into the crimping area. This slows the process and often caused me to have to re twist the wires to attempt to insert it properly multiple times. There are other that have solved that problem. Finally the protective portion of the covering material does not completely encapsulate the male and female sections when connected. There is a small portion of the connector exposed. Other manufacturers have solved this. So in this product category, you have to make a choice... 1. Fully insulated connector that exposes nothing when connected or 2. Use of metal of high enough quality that the crimp and connections can be trusted or 3. Shrink tubing that is appropriate to the wire size or 4. A design that makes it easy to insert the wire. If you find someone who has all or even most of those attributes in a single reasonably priced product, please let me know. ... show more

The heat drink on these works awesome they is a nice variety of different sized connectors. The material is decently thick for being made in China and the heat shrink material is really nice. Very good value for the money compared to shopping at local marinas for little stuff.

Like being able to stock up on connectors for a very reasonable price. The connectors work as they should. To create good connections with heat shrink connectors, you must use a crimping tool designed for that type of connector. Otherwise, the crimp will fail to hold and/or you will cut the tubing, destroying its integrity. Also, recommend an electric heat gun for best heat control. Ask me how I know all this first hand! Really like the hot glue adhesive inside the heat shrink tubing, helps seal the connection and hold the wire in the terminal. ... show more

I built my own travel trailer and wanted to use quality connections to ensure no issues with the trailer wiring as it was hidden in the walls. These are great, they crimp very solid (be sure to get the correct crimp tool for this style), they have internal glue so not only do they shrink with hear the glue seals them tight. Sure they are a little more than others on Amazon but when it come to electrical you want to do it right the first time. No one wants to chase down electrical gremlins. ... show more
