The lugs are very nice, good quality. I am using them to solder 1/0 wires for a stereo installation. My only gripe is the included heatshrink. I got 1 piece of red and 2 black. I ordered the kit so I didn't have to order heat shrink too. Also, the included heat shrink isn't adhesive heat shrink. If you're application is outside the house, I would just order some bare lugs and adhesive heat shrink separately. ... show more

I use these on a boat. Steel rusts badly and copper turns green so place some protection on the fittings and they will last you for many seasons and provide you with the maximum voltage. I highly recommend going Copper all the way
