Assembling the cables were a simple process, but I didn't realize the shrink wrap that comes with these connectors also has an adhesive inside! Because these were short 2/0 cables, I was worried about how sturdy the connectors would be. The adhesive added the extra layer of strength I wanted to make sure they wouldn't come off -- besides putting them on correctly. It's also nice that you don't have to do anything special. Just use your heat gun like normal and the adhesive heats up and fills in any gaps as the shrink wrap gets tighter. Let it cool down and it's ready to go! ... show more
