This review is for the Wirefy 26-24 awg heat connectors. I just used one and I had to sit down and write a review. Yea, it's that good. With the other brands, by the time I melted the solder the insulation would burn and even melt. Though they cost a little more, I decided to try these, , I'm glad to say, they solve that problem, Just like they show in their ad. These work they way they are supposed to. The solder melted evenly all throughout and the shrink didn't burn. With these, you can clearly see the evenly smooth melting solder go over the joint. I tried using lower temperature heat guns with the other ones, but that still didn't work. With these, I used my hi-temp butane heat gun and it came out perfect. if you live in the rust belt and have broken wires these will save you future hassles. quick connectors exposed to elements rot and corrode. These connectors are the answer to that situation. If you want to fix it again in a year use some solder and black electrical tape or just do it right by crimping the wire, and heat shrink it so it's fixed right the first time using these waterproof butt connectors. A traditional heat gun on high doesn't quite bring the solder to melt consistently and reliably... if you apply the heat against a robust metal background this creates sufficient heat to melt the solder very consistently.
