easy to install -- left the wire from the camera external without even drilling. the padding around the trunk/hatch isn't hurting it, and the wire is then easy to bury under carpets/mats. if you don't even want to fish around for the tail light wire, put the 12v plug in and the on/off button works like a charm (make sure you turn it off so the LEDs to the rear don't offend your fellow drivers or local authorities; another plug for manually powering it on/off is to ensure it doesn't drain your battery if your outlet is hot even with vehicle off). camera has crisp picture (make sure you take off the film over the lens -- picture was full of glare before I remembered to do that). make sure you have a plan for the wired monitor. I have mine near where the bowling alley/shifter would be in between the front seats and it works for me without taking up more than a cupholder. i can look down and it is space i'm happy to give up for this. YMMV. I wasn't about to wire something up to the video of my center console screen and screw something up. and please don't obstruct your vision by throwing this good sized video screen on your windshield so you hit something going forward but not back. some of the packaging had a really funky sour tobacco smell but luckily it didn't penetrate the electronics at all, thank goodness. a strong whiff of nasty but at $30 or so, still felt like a steal compared to fancier and more expensive setups. one thing I'd deduct half a star for would be the parking guidelines adjust by width, height, and horizontally, but it would be nice to be able to adjust them further (angle/pitch, etc.). but you can have them off, so really, if you're in the market for a bottom shelf, no-frills, plug-and-play back-up camera, this is really good quality, works decently at night, and is hard to mess up if you have realistic expectations. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Wanted a backup camera for one of my cars, hence got this to try. Well-arranged and everything feels branded including the box in which it comes. Also, out of the box, I was impressed with the setup. It was easy overall. For the price, I would recommend this camera. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Clear picture quality with 149 degrees wide-angle capability - There is almost zero video lag from the camera to the screen. Very smooth video playback - Setup was easy overall without any issues faced - The camera is a mini size that is embedded into the license plate frame & so looks nice when installed on the rear license plate - Good build quality - The screen display is good enough for the size & a mount is included in the package that holds pretty well - They bundle long cables that should be long enough to install in any size vehicle - IP69 waterproof and hence should last long in outdoor weather - Detailed instruction manual included for reference - Long warranty provided by the manufacturer Cons: - The pictures/videos seem to lack color accuracy but at this price point, I would not complain about it ... show more

This product, the camera and monitor are EXCELLENT in function, in quality and in service. Cam/monitor resolution is excellent -- very clear images. It has been extremely helpful to me, an elderly person. Turning around, to look over my shoulder in order to back up is generally very painful, difficult. This product eliminates that discomfort. However, be aware, this company will NOT provide ANY phone service, or verbal technical assist!! They have gone to considerable lengths to aggressively conceal and hide any phone contact from you, the public. I have an extremely simple question and spent half a day researching, attempting to find a phone number to ask the question. I never did!! My particular question was simple .... should a more involved, complicated, system level question arise? FORGET IT. You're on your own. Your ONLY possible contact, will be through writing an email (and who knows who these people may have sold your email to, or how effective their cyber security is!!), and waiting for who knows how long before you get any response. My question??? They ship the cam and monitor with an enormous amount of EXTRA (WITH INTEGRATED 'BUILT-IN' CONNECTORS!) cabling. If you have an ordinary pickup truck, or car ... you have to find somwhere to wad up and safely store all that extra wire. It would be very helptul to be able to cut out/remove all the extra wire, and splice the wiring. But, IF the cabling is impedance critical, it likely can NOT be modified. Question is, is this main cable impedence critical?? Yes ..... or no? And this company cannot even provide a verbal commication pathway to respond to that question!!! Next time, I'll buy a wireless cam, from another company that DOES provide at least minimum phone contact. If it hadn't been such a pain to run the cabling beneath my vehicle, I"d remove it, return it, and buy from a company that DOES provide reasonable verbal tech support. UPDATE: Apparently the folks at Zeroxclub saw the above and very kindly (and generously!) refunded my purchase price for the Backup Camera!! As the product, (as I stated in the original review) is an excellent one, I felt a bit 'guilty' in accepting the refund. HOWEVER .... I still have not received a response as to the risks of splicing the camera cable .... my opinion is that doing so will not damage the system operation. BUT, if it DOES create a difficulty, then the funds are now available to replace the system. So ... THANK YOU, Zeroxclub ... and again, you DO have a fine, quality product. I would buy again, and WILL recommend the system to others. ... show more
