Wife: “I have not had hot water from the tap this fast! Our tankless water heater works great, but it is pretty far from the kitchen meaning lots of lost water before it gets hot. Now, it takes about two seconds! I love it!” Husband: I installed this heater after having gone through 2 or 3 pumps that would recycle the hot water at the installation point (Ch……r) that cost about $500. They work until the pump bearing goes which requires a new pump, and they are noisy to boot. This heater is quiet, easy to connect, and will make good use of our solar power. As you can see, my wife loves it and I have already connected the 120 v unit for our master bath sinks. One more to go for the garage/work shop. The best part is that all units are connected to the hot water house connection drawing water from the tankless. As the water warms less heating is necessary until none is required when the draw water is at 120 degrees. This unit worked from the first use with no hiccups. I have talked to customer service and they are very responsive!

The media could not be loaded. It's a nice heater when it worked. I hired an electrician to install it in my RV, unfortunately after 6 months of light use, water leaks now and won't even turn on. Will update this review if I get it to work again.

UPDATE 1.20.24 - WINTEMP Customer service team reached out to me after I left this review. They offered to make this right by compensating me for the additional cost I incurred of having to have the electrical work re-worked to accommodate a more powerful heater. That type of service is OUTSTANDING! WINTEMP does offer more powerful heaters so before you purchase, know your water inlet temp, and know your water GPM rate. This will help you choose the right heater for your needs. Thank you WINTEMP! This is regarding the 3.5KW model. The water does not get hot enough for our use. I found that if you reduce the flow of water to about .25 to .5 GPM, the water will get hot. My kitchen has standard water flow of 1.0 GPM and if turned on all the way, the water only gets luke-warm, does not get above 91 degrees. This heater will only work in a very low-flow situation, .5 GPM or less. If you want the ability to heat water in a faucet that has a 1.0 GPM rate, buy a unit that has more KW. WINTEMP has higher KW models. Unfortunately, I found that once you get around 8-9KW, you need to go to 240 volts.

This allows you to easily get the hot water you need fast. I installed this in my rv to replace my old water heater. Not only is it smaller but it's more convient to store and even use. It's not ideal for large households but works great for smaller areas and like washing dishes or clothes or even washing up. I've never had issues with this not giving me enough hot water and I love warm showers.

Done everything to get this system to put out hot water. Adjusted the temperature to 130 and got a shot of warm water then it went back to 65 degree. SMH. After a great experience with the seller and their representatives it is understood that the product indeed is not faulty it’s just designed for a warmer region. Following that, they compensated me for my troubles. This type of service is difficult to find. Recommend getting a better understanding of how theses instant hot units work in your area.

You must use 10-2 wire for connection & a 30 amp breaker. If you don't you will constantly trip the breaker. Do it right the first time. We are new construction so easy. This thing work great. Turn it on low pressure @ first do you can get the water hot. I have min set @ the ideal temp & it is scorching hot. If it gets too hot I just use my faucet mixer like any other time you are mixing cold to hot. I like it because it doesn't use a lot of space & works perfectly. I had a Bosch which took the entire half under the sink up in my last house. We had another that we returned it was junk. Love this model.

The reason they leave the GPM information out of the specifications is because they want to fool you so you think this will be a shower water heater... it most certainly is not it is for a tiny sink like if you had a bar in your basement or something. You will not be using it for a shower. And they should let tell you that.Because it plain doesn't work.
