This is a great set of weight bags. I was looking for something to hold down my car canopy, and these bags work great. They are simple to use, you just fill the bags with water and then strap them to the canopy poles. The straps are very secure and the Velcro is strong. The bags hold water very well and the material is heavy duty. I have used these through the fall and winter and these bags have been frozen and thawed many times. Everything works well and they have held up just fine. No problems holding my canopy down during some serious storms and wind. If you are looking for a nice set of canopy weights, I would definitely recommend this set.

I purchased 8 of these and filled them with water, since I want to store these in a box after using them. I would prefer sand, but sand make a mess and you would not want to empty them... and storing them full of sand would take up a lot of space. Filling them with water was really easy and the bags are sturdy and well made. I've only used them once so time will tell on how long they uphold.

Arrived quickly, easy to attach and fill. We put them on our gazebo one evening and had a rough Texas storm that night! No problems, very stable. Curtains and furniture hide them, but not necessary, as they blend in nicely.

Easy enough to fill - Need to find some sort of container when need to travel with them/fill ahead of time. Great option instead of bulky weights. Easy to store.

We live in a windy area. We had a party planned and had to figure out a way to keep the overhand from flying. I purchased this set from Amazon and they arrived the next day. I filled the tubes with water and used the pre-located straps to tie them to the overhand legs. The wind blew up to 25 mph, but the overhand stayed in place without issue.

I received this product a few days ago. My initial impression is that it is a well-made product. The bags are made of a sturdy material that seems like it could hold water well. I ordered the black units, unaware that the color blue was also an option. Since black retains heat quite easily, I opted to use sand instead of water inside of these bags. The premise being that these bags would be exposed to sun all day and since black attracts sunlight, water could evaporate quickly. Unlike water, sand is mostly impervious to heat. To my surprise these bags easily took 50 pounds of sand each with room to spare. I probably could’ve fit 60 pounds of sand inside each one of these bags. That said, the product descriptions suggest the weight limit of each bag is 44 pounds so I am intentionally leaving the extra space empty to ensure I don’t overburden the bag weight limits. So far, the bags have performed well at keeping my canopy in place. Within an hour of installing the bags, the wind unexpectedly picked up and was blowing very very hard. While the canopy swayed in the wind, the canopy did not move or lift from its location. The bags did exactly what they were designed to do. So far, my only regret is not knowing that the bags came in blue. That said, the black bags are functionally no different and provided me with exactly what I needed. I will update my review and add or remove stars as I’ve had additional time to evaluate the product. My initial impressions have earned this product three stars for meeting my expectations.
