I have been using a Winix air purifier for years, so when I saw they now had humidifiers, I knew it was a MUST buy. After I started using the Winix humidifier that was no longer the case. I slept better and longer and didn’t wake up in the morning feeling “bleh”. The product is well designed, small but mighty! We have three Winix Air Purifiers (large units) so I know this is a solid product and the reason for my purchase. Easy to assemble and works great. We have steam heat in our apartment building and ducts have never been cleaned in sixty years, hence the Winix air purifiers. But, forced steam heat is like gas heat; it really dries your sinus out; so, I purchased this product. My unit is on my night stand about 18 inches from my bedside and right now I have it about 3/4 of the full dial turned on. My sinus dry problem is gone!!! No lies, or paid false review; just an honest senior telling you this product works great. (Con: On the dial switch it is hard to see the adjustment line; and the light is a finger sensitive switch). Use distilled water to keep it great and NOT tap water. I use about 1.5 gallons a week ($1.50 for distilled water). My son has a gas furnace in their home and now they have one. There are a lot of choices and prices but this is an Amazon brand I trust! 5-Star plus product ... show more

I like the clean look of this. Also it humidifies as expected and is easy to clean. It's not as quiet as our bigger more expensive unit but it's quiet enough. We use one in our bedroom.
