I'd give this cable 6 out of 5 stars. I have had this cable for more than a year and have made many purchases of it. I only ever returned it once due to shipping mess up. But the quality of the PV cable (lives 100% in the sun at my house) is holding up well in the harsh winters and very mild but wet summer this year (not normal for us). But the cable did well and so did all the connections. I replace the mc4 connectors with my own to make them all the same brand (for reasons) but yeah I highly recommend this cable if you are looking for good, UL listed PV cable that you don't have to worry about so long as you size your system correctly and do not try to over draw amps. Voltage = Amps * Resistance Power = Amps * Voltage Money saved = Design your system to use as little AMPs so that you don't have to buy over sized expensive cooper. I use 12AWG for all my solar panels (30+ panels) in various configurations and some arrays pushing 60v <= x < 100v and 30A max. These cable rocks! Length is always perfect. HINT: When you get this cable it will be tightly wound. You'll want to stretch it immediatley before you install it and it doesn't take long to stretch but if you do, your install will probably got a little easier once the curls come out and trust me this cable will lay down where ever you put it in a 24 hours or so due to sun and stretching.

Have purchased several sets of cables from this provider over the past year or two for my solar configuration. The copper in the cables seems to be of good quality - no issues with heat and power flow has performed well. May seem odd, but the cables feel right - weighty (like you know there is metal in them) yet they are very flexible and easy to work with. The kits come nicely packed and always include plenty of good quality lugs and heat wrap.

Good performance, Not much wattage loss. This 50 foot long, 10 AWG cable, still gave the same wattage from both a 200W and 350W solar panels as the factory 14 AWG, 6 foot solar generator cable. Get a pack of like 5 to 10 mini / small zip ties to secure both positive and negative cables together for easier roll out and roll up as both positive and negative cables are seperate and not secured together.

Purchased these to give more flexibility to my solar charger. They worked great, comes with 2 cables that hook up easily to the solar charger. The only reason I am giving them a 4 and not a five is the cables are individual and they tangled easily because they are so long. I fixed that with a roll of electrical tape and about 30 minutes. They now act as one cableand can't tangle (small price to pay for the great price of the cables). Other than that these are great cables, built well and heavy duty 10 ga wire. Did not have any voltage drop or loss any charging capability. I use 4 batteries on my trailer and these cables helped keep them up to full charge by allowing me to get the charger out of the shade. They are now a part of my solar charging kit for my camp trailer.

I measured the Miliohm resistance for 3 sets of WindyNation 30’ stranded copper 10 AWG MC4 cables, including an MC4 connector on each end. First red = 31.4 & black = 31.8; second red = 31.0 & black = 31.2; and third red = 30.9 & black = 31.1. Using standard engineering values for 30 AWG copper MC4 cables: - Cable alone: ~30.6 mΩ - MC4 connectors (both ends): ~0.5–1.0 mΩ - Expected total: approximately **31.1–31.6 mΩ The vendor’s cables, based on my measurements, appear to be of high quality. The measured resistance is well within typical expected ranges for properly constructed, high-quality stranded copper 10 AWG MC4 cables at a 30-foot length.
