Update: 06/23/25: Junk, Swivel screech, cheap build, very very disappointed. Initial review: For $129, it's okay. The build quality is pretty bad, but it's plastic. It's not heavy enough so it wobbles when rotating on swivel mode. Cooling mode doesn't suck all the water out of the tank, and the tank is not removable... Lasts about 2 hrs before needing to be refilled with water. Fan wise it does what a $25 box fan would do. Cooling wise with water and provided ice packs... It's not going to ice your room, as other reviews state; "same as if I put ice water bottles behind my fan". It does seem a little bit chillier. Humidifier wise, it does the trick. I don't recommend this if you're trying to beat the summer heat... Maybe if it's blasting you straight in the face, I'll have to try that. Maybe some ice cubes in the tray with the ice packs to really ice up the water? I'll have to try it. Conclusion: It's okay. I definitely wouldn't get it again. I'll keep it because I did want a humidifier for cold months. Otherwise I'd give this thing a 2/5 Star.

I’m disappointed in this AC. I chose this one because the reviews were so good. We have a sunroom that is also my son’s playroom and it gets warm in the summer. I bought this to try to help keep it cool and comfortable so we can still play in there. I used the ice packs and put cold water in the bottom and it still blows warm air. There is no difference in the temperature of the room despite it being on the highest setting, spinning, with the ice packs and cold water. I would return it, but we already got rid of the boxes and it would end up being a hassle. I wish I would’ve just gotten a cheap fan, because that’s all this seems to be.

It’s a fan. I don’t really feel a difference in pouring ice water or just water in the dispenser. The design is nice, however I don’t feel a temperature change like I would with an ac window unit.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I live in the arid West where evaporative coolers *should* work well due to the lack of humidity. Unfortunately, this unit didn’t deliver on its promise to cool the air. I followed all the instructions, tried using the included ice pack and even added real ice—no noticeable difference at all. The air coming out was never cooler than the ambient temperature. At best, it functions as a regular fan. If you're looking for actual cooling, this is not the solution. Don’t waste your money like I did. 8/1/25: follow up post- not only does it do a poor job cooking but also leaks, even though we’ve followed all the directions . DO NOT BUY THIS FAN!
